Queen's drummer is named Roger Taylor and he did a fabulous job on this song! The companion song to this one is called "Bicycle Race" and I believe you will enjoy that one very much!

Fat Bottomed Girls is an anthem to body positivity. While some may find it a bit crass it's in no way disparaging to anybody. This song made news recently by a political group making false claims about it being canceled. In reality a kids streaming service (made for kids as young as 3 years old) called Yoto removed it from their service. More Please. Peace/JT

Hi Mo. I just recently heard again a song I think will have you rocking out. The band are Iron Maiden and the track is Run to the Hills. Rock on, Babe!!
The line "get on your bikes and ride" is referring to another song on the same album called "Bicycle Race" which was also a hit for Queen.
Both tracks were released together as a "double A side" (back in the days when 45 inch singles had a side A and a side B).
I feel like this song should be the official song of the Rock n Roll Haul of Fame.

Unapologetic, not mean spirited in the least, and just a simple great song. But sometimes, people get overly sensitive about topics related to "body shaming", which is the complete opposite of what this song is about - a celebration, not a cancellation.
As someone who’s been larger my entire life… hearing and finally UNDERSTANDING this song was an EXPERIENCE for me. It was like “…oh. 😍 Okay, it’s nice to hear it said positively for once!”

Mo, my speculation about the song being “canceled” is because it discusses a boy being sexually assaulted by an adult woman (his nanny). I am sure that is why this song is on anyone’s radar today. And yes, I am sure this was a video synch of concert footage with the audio track from the album. But their harmonies were just as good in concert footage, and the drummer, Roger Taylor, often sang harmony while he drummed. Queen was the best!
