Brighton is a moving machine. I love the audacity in their play tho it’s very risky and can backfire easily. If Andre Santos can nail down that box to box role and listen to Poch steady then we might not need to go for Caicedo now. We can play the long game and force brightons hand. If chelsea pull out of negotiations Caicedo would be unsettled and it could cause the asking price to drop

@@justaguy5762It's not a problem to have both even though they're close in age. We can always play a midfield 3 at times. Also, make no mistake Santos isn't necessarily a DM, his natural position is box to box. He was top scorer in the u20 SA championship. He's just a great talent that plays across the midfield perfectly. Caicedo can also play box to box but he's mostly a DM. No point buying lavia but Caicedo would be a great addition.

  • @gilbertchima781

TRUTH BE TOLD , Santos is a better pivotal deep seating midfielder than Enzo who is sluggish and poor in tracking back hence it will be a brutal mistake to loan out Santos. He has arguably claimed his starting rights in this eponymous POCH led CHELSEA TEAM.
NONETHELESS, we still need the likes of MOHHAMMED KUDUS and CAICEDO In the middle of pack to exponentially improve the midfield against big teams like REAL MADRID,MANCITY and BAYERN MUNICH
ADITIONALLY, we don't really need a new striker this season given the blistering and electrifying performances from JACKSON,NKUNKU and MUDRYK as well as BROJA hoping to make an impact later on as the new season gathers momentum
FINALLY , my opinion..... IAN MAATSEN is far better than CUCURELLA and will prove to be CHELSEA most pivotal utility player this season AND SHOULD NEVER BE SOLD EVEN IF A HUGE OFFER IS TABLED .

@@MrBlueFootball it's not a confidence problem. He doesnt know how to give passes in tight spaces. When there is no space in games, he doesnt do well, because he doesnt knw how to play with the ball close to him....
Even when he was in Manchester city, I see that as a weakness in his game. Plus he is wasteful in front of goal. We dont need that in our current situation. Chelsea should move Cucurella to the pivot and Maatsen as a backup to Chilwell. Cucurella's passing is underrated and defensively he is very good. The options for the pivot can be Enzo, Cucurella, Santos, Gallagher and Hall. Casadei is better in a more advanced midfield position.
