How much is Ultimate Spider-Man #1 actually worth?

Hey hey! Trying something new. Always loved comics and this book is great. But is Ultimate Spider-Man #1 worth the current market value?
Probably expect more Nerd Talk stuff.

I do think the variant covers will go down in price as the hype dies down in like 2-3 years. But cover A might stay pricey just the fact it's the first printing and depending on the legacy of this run going forward.

There's plenty of copies.
They've done multiple printings.
If you wanna read Ultimate Spider-Man, you can still buy the back issues and catch up.
Or, you can buy this in trade.
But, I'd pay $80 for volume 2 of Simonsons indie version of Thor. Because it's not in print
You can NOT buy it from any store.
But Ultimate Spider-Man?
Its available, you can pay cover price for it. It's much better than the old Ultimate Spider-Man.

The correct word you are looking for is "Reboot". Marvel Rebooted the Ultimates Universe. "Relaunch" is when they continue the series and continuity with a new volume and number 1.
