Hello Junaid. Love your content. But this interview seemed more like a lip service and self promotion rather than helping someone find their job. She missed all critical questions and answered some with "it's a personal choice". Please share structured questions with people in the industry and be mindful that they come prepared. I'm not even HR but could have answered most of these questions better for someone new in the market.
    Critical questions that were missed:
    1) why is it that HR in Pakistan do not post job salaries on job hunting websites when it's the standard for the industry all over the world? Because that is bottom line for most people
    2) Is there a way to arbitrate in a any court in Pakistan if a company has not followed the contract agreement signed with you.
    3) What needs to be added in labor law that you feel is missing. How can labor laws be improved
    4) She had speciality in finance, HR and marketing. Key question on how to portray multiple skills during interview were missed.
    5) Question on labour unions and future of labour unions missed.
    6) Questions for someone looking to switch their industry.
For someone in mid-senior level, I did pick up few things from it but I hope to see more substance. As always, your content is always superb and more power to you.
    Love you bro.

This will be informative for those who are seeking a job or wanting to know how HR thinks.
Believe me two things work for you: 1- Luck
    2- Experience
If you're lucky, you can be called from any huge organization but if you sucks, you will be applying all-time though the organizations is small. Second, experience shows how much work you have done in your life and how strong you're doing this but the condition is you should be working from a beginning like after intermediate and then when you'll reach at 25 or beyond, you'll have many to explain.
For C.V, exactly there is no perfect format. The perfect is how much relevant information is present and where have you sent it to a relevant department or an organization. Mostly people mistake in this part and hence they suffer.

I had made the same mistake @41:52. A brand called me and they used their parent name instead of the name on the JD. They were a clothing brand and I mentioned them as an FMCG when they asked to tell them more about the company and why would I be interested in working for them. LOL.
For salary thing what have worked for me is to ask the question from the recruiter in the end, "What is the approved salary range for this role?". Saved me several times from underquoting my salary.
When they say the approved salary range is 90k - 100k. (E.G). Then you can say "Based on the research that I have carried for this role's salary range. My salary expectation is 95k or whatever suits you.

I've applied for more than almost 500+ time for Mechanical Engineer fresh job for last 3 years. No body give response in Pakistan Wallah. Everything is based on relationship or reference. Why big companies hire fresh graduate?

    • @nycto16
      @nycto16 Год назад

Its not about reference. Engineers are unemployed in Pakistan because no one needs them eventually.

from one engineer to another, if you havent found a job yet change yr field or change yr country cuz industrial sector is closing.

Graduated last month as a Mechanical engineer. Trying to find jobs nowadays in different countries but so far, didn’t find anything.

@@aliakram8065 stop applying outside if you have 3+ years experience or real good research paper then apply outside cause only then they would support you with a visa or if you have a great reference then apply outside
In Pakistan reference is more effective than anything or else its all luck cause the HR are more confusion than the applier cause they want the best guy and very dumb guy and very loyal to HR. So between that there is a small space apply according to that
