- One of the heaviest HIM songs they ever made! A lot of good riffs in this one. To anyone who wants to learn this one on guitar, the tuning is B Standard. The slow middle part after the solo, is one of the creepiest and awesome vocal performances Ville Valo has ever done. Great performance all around by the band, also!

Damn! That was an awesome cover man! And the tone was spot on! How did you achieve it? I can't seem to dial in that tone at all when i try to play it in the practice room. You've earned yourself a new subscriber... i'm gonna binge a lot of your videos now!
Thank you so much! At the time I was using a line 6 UX2. I just messed around and tweaked the settings until I got what I thought was close to the album tones. It doesn't take as much gain as you think. I also doubled the tracks with a baritone guitar. You don't need one tho. I couldn't tell any difference between the baritone track or the regular 6 string guitar track

No wonder I could never figure out HIM songs.... I figured since VIlle writes the songs on acoustic that it would be in standard or drop D.... Looks like I gotta go get some 12s

Hey man! Your HIM covers especially your Venus Doom covers are pretty tight when it comes to Linde's tone. Are you planning on sharing how you managed to do it? :)
Thanks! I was using a line 6 UX2 and made a preset for his tone. Basically get a good Marshall tone, put the treble around 7, bass around 3, and gain on about 5-6. That'll get you close. For wah, you have to use the Dunlop bass wah pedal. That's the pedal Linde uses
