My hamster passed in Late 2019.I don't want to get any more animals until I leave high school this summer myself however my sister is asking my mum for a hamster.Luckily I've told them both loads of knowledge I have learnt [mainly from your channel :)].

I watched your channel when i got my first hammy and she lived a life like royalty (which she totally deserves!)
I finally finished taming my robo it took like 4 months. I then after taming had to work with her on cage aggression for 2 months. I have had her 6 months. I am happy to say I don't get bit as much now

I'm an introvert too and often have conversations with my hammies. It's nice after a long day you can just let your hamster out for a run around and chat with them. I’ve had three hamsters in my lifetime, and they usually live two and a half years and if I don’t have a hamster in my room it feels so empty 😢🥺but my recent hamster has had the best life out of all of them, she has a 990 square inch cage and im glad that I’ve come so far from the cages my hamsters used to be in, mostly because of victoria!! Thank you for changing my hamsters life for the better 😊

Hi Victoria, I recently got a female dwarf hamster and didn’t know much besides stuff I’ve learned off of tiktok, I saw someone recommend your YT channel and have been watching it ever since! I upgraded my cage to a bin cage as soon as I realized that full cheeks cages are super bad. Now I’ve made my own seed mix, make my own toys/hides and clean regularly. As an 11 year old taking care of one of my first pets I think I’m doing a pretty good job :)

I actually haven't had to do any long travels with a hamster as it's something I avoid! Is there any pet sitters you know of who may take care of hamsters? or even a neighbour to just come in once a day to check on food & water?

What would u say is the “correct” time to get a hammy after one has passed away or what time you usually spend before getting another one xx This is just because idk when I should get another hammy after my elderly hammy passes because she is extremely wobbly and I’m not sure that she has much time left 😭😭😭
I would say there is none really, it's all up to the person. If you need to wait a couple months or even years before getting another that is okay, it's also okay if you decide you want another within a day or a week.
It also just depends on when my parents will let me and I will find it awkward to ask for. The other alternative is my birthday is in April and if she passes before then which I hope she doesn’t then I can ask for another hammy for my bday xx
I wouldn't suggest convincing someone to get any pet, if they're reluctant to get one in the first place. Because at the end of the day, the animal still depends on them, and what happens if they don't allow you to give it the things it needs for a good life, or they refuse to take it to a vet if needed? Way too many stories like that :( If the person who the animal depends on financially isn't 100% enthusiastic about owning the animal, it's best to not have that animal.

yeah.. I know which exact hammy it is... I'm not telling anyone, but I know which breeder it's from and its colour (she's beautiful) oh yeah, and the name that the breeder gave the hammy, but I don't know if it will be changed.
I'd take him to a vet. It could be infected if it has discharge. can you take a look at your hamster's teeth? sometimes hamsters teeth can grow into their nasal cavity if they are too long and they can end up damaging the hamster's eye. :)

My Robo is finally starting to get tame-ish 🥳 she’s sort of a ghost hamster so it’s taken a while I only see her every 3-5 days

yeah.. I know which exact hammy it is... I'm not telling anyone, but I know which breeder it's from and its colour (she's beautiful) oh yeah, and the name that the breeder gave the hammy, but I don't know if it will be changed.
Hi, my hamsters eyes are black but his left eye became red i dont know what to do. Can you help me please❤
Is it the eye itself or around it? Have they changed in size at all?
The eye itself, it is the same size just red color. And it's very ummm watery
Possibly could be infected if there is discharge/teary as mentioned.
I'd take him to a vet. It could be infected if it has discharge. can you take a look at your hamster's teeth? sometimes hamsters teeth can grow into their nasal cavity if they are too long and they can end up damaging the hamster's eye. :)
@@VictoriaRaechel i took her to the vet. They seid that her eye was infected and that she(my hamster) is blind on that eye.
