i modified the tc nova system with fx loop. now i use 4CM and it works like a charm. Use two mv50 as amplifier in stereo. now it is the smallest and lightest and cheapest 2x50W/4Ohm stereo effect device. tonsound
I don’t know what 4CM is. My fx loop only works with “Drive” engaged while it is routed differently when not engaged. Don’t ask me why. I tracked the signal with an oscilloscope and the signal is present at the connector. It was fun to make, but you can also buy a second hand Nova Drive.

I moved on and got the HX stomp and for the limited effects use I have in my shows, the HX stomp was a great product, took up less room on my pedal board and has pretty good modeling so I can use it as a backup amp going to the PA if needed.
@@sergioserramusic Yeah I can see that. I don't use presets. I use it pretty much as a glorified 3 effect stompbox where I toggle Chorus, Delay and a solo boost on/off and that's it. I have a external footswitch also configured that if I do need to use the stomp as a backup amp, I can connect that switch and do channel changing to toggle between a clean and dirty amp. My Fractal FM3 pretty much put my hx stomp out of business for about a year and then I snagged a MKII Katana Artist head and have been using that lately with an OX Stomp pedal going to the PA and an FRFR behind me and that amp sounds REALLY great. I was able to pretty much nail my silver jubilee sound after a couple days of tweaking settings and flipping back and fourth between the jubilee and the katana with an A/B switch.

I have considered buying one of these to use with my headrush MX5 emulator. The mx5 have a ton of stuff but i kinda lack a bit of ekstra stuff and pedals to shape my sound when im live. Having a unit like this with ready to go ekstra effects to use could be super cool. I dont know how well it goes together with emulators though.

Ciao. Ho avuto anche io questo multi effetto per anni. Poi a causa di un cortocircuito di una ciabatta l'ho fulminato. Ne ho comprato uno usato da un tizio e non funzionava. Poi me ne sono acquistato uno nuovo che andava in freeze. Fortunatamente ho approfittato della garanzia e ho preso una GX 100 della Boss perchè il TC era ormai fuori produzione. Gli effetti del Nova System erano nettamente migliori e la sezione OD/Distortion se la cavava egregiamente. Semplice da usare in accoppiata con un qualsiasi canale clean di un ampli senza tanti casini. Costava come un pedalone boutique. Mi dispiace che non lo fanno più, mannaggia. Con i nuovi Plethora non si combina un catz... Ci vanno altri accrocchi aggiuntivi, anche solo per le distorsioni. Dovrebbero rimetterlo in produzione, magari con una sim clean decente per usarlo in diretta.

Adoro questa multieffetto, l'ho usata per anni ai concerti con la mia band :') L'unico problema è che vorrei usarla per registrare delle tracce di chitarra sul PC, ma quando la collego alle mie schede audio c'ha sempre un sibilo di sottofondo che non sono mai riuscito a eliminare. Chissà quale potrebbe essere il problema?

The drive sounds good, it doesn’t sound like a TS or a Klon, if sounds like itself but thanks to the eq you could shape it a bit. I then tried to emulate the DS-1 with the distortion and the eq and I got pretty close so I think you could get the overdrive to sound like a TS!
i used one for years and still have it a great effects unit. i used a midi mouse to switch the presets thanks for sharing
I perfectly agree! Switch-off and on each effect makes it almost unique. External drive and wah suggested to get the top from it.

You're getting really nice tones from this showing what a GREAT pedal it is.

The the Stomp is great, but switching effects on and off and changing between presents isn’t instant and it bothers me a lot

I hacked mine making an fx-loop, so I could put in my old sansamp between the analog drive and A/D converter.

@@Weloz92 magari l’alimentazione, potresti aver qualche loop di massa. Prova a staccare e attaccare le prese o a mettere tutto in un’unica presa
i still have mine. the one problem i have of it is the drive footswitch which lags when you activate drive.
