The highschool in my town did this musical! They needed younger kids to be the river city kids, so I got to be in it even though I wasn't in highschool yet. It was a great experience and I had a lot of fun doing it :)
+Claire Trickey It sounds like it goes from G flat major, then to E major or the relative minor for a time, then ultimately to G major. I can provide you with more accurate info later on if you wish; I'll actually be playing with a pit orchestra for this musical in two months! :D
I wish this album was on Spotify!
I sing to this song whenever I can! -3 love it!

I don’t understand why they dropped the key down so much for this version. We all know Kristen would have had no problem singing it.
Cause she can’t cut it like Barbara Cook did. Thanks why.
does anyone know what key this is in?
No but it sure ain’t the original key. She couldn’t cut it like Barbara Cook did in the original cast.
Is there an instrumental ofnthis?
love Kristen Chenoweth but she always holds out the last note of a song too long for me!!!! :P alas, to be a mere mortal.
