This is a great introductory coaster for kids or those looking for the next stepping stone to the more intense coasters! I love these mid-tier rides, even though I love more intense coasters, no doubt rides like these are just and enjoyable credit
So much complaining. This is a family coaster not Montu for crying out loud. Don’t like it then don’t ride it. Will make for a shorter line for the rest of us!
Only valid complaint is the track and supports tbh. Why are they blue? WHY ARE THEY BLUE????? Other than that, there could be some more on ride theming but it’s good otherwise
I'm just wondering why it has such a ridiculously long break run. Why not brake in the station like Vekoma family suspended coasters? All that straight track is wasted space and could have been replaced by an airtime hill or something
@@RobertoBollijrim guessing that this layout is intended to be cloned, so the extra brake run length can be modified into a spot for a second train, with some room for a switch track for the storage track
After the thrilling Iron Gwazi, which is one of the most intense rides on the planet, I definitely think this was a good choice, a ride that’s on the tamer side but not a kiddy ride
Id imagine the new monsters inc roller coaster will be similar and tame like this one. Except it’s being built by Vekoma with their new swinging suspended coaster design.
It wasn't working in this video. One of the ride ops told me that the rattle is causing issues with the onboard audio system. Even when the soundtrack is working, you can barely hear it.
You’re talking about Phoenix at Deno’s Wonder Wheel Amusement Park, which was made by Vekoma unlike Phoenix Rising here which is a ride by B&M. Also, their layouts are very different. But they do follow the same philosophy of being a family-oriented slightly thrilling inverted coaster.
Great intro ride for kids but cheetah hunt did it way better, this ride has some strong speeds but its missing track length and a barrel roll or 2, plus cheetah hunt has the sudden take off and the launch up the hill making it the better kid ride. I guess its good for younger kid's but anyone over 12 will probably not even mess with it. It's like a bigger version of Grover. Cobra's curse, cheetah hunt, sand serpent all did it way better i wish it at least had a cool story in the wait line like Cobra did.
No worse than the Vekoma Suspended Family coaster that also only runs 1 train, is 60 seconds long, and does about the same thing. Seriously, "enthusiasts", please shut up.
Not sure how I feel about this one. Hopefully the one that looks to be going in at Busch Gardens VA will be more interesting. Main layout aside, I would have possibly done things different to improve operations. Considering it still uses a conventional brake run outside the station, it could have easily been made to run on 2 trains. Committing to one train ops, I would have added an extra element in place of the brake run (maybe a little bunny hop or something), and utilised in-station braking just like Vekoma do on their suspended family coasters. It would at least then speed up turn around times ever so slightly. Also from an aesthetics pov, they really should have put wheel covers (themed, or even just stylised with a paint scheme) over the bogeys like B&M would normally do with their other inverts.
My only problem is the ops for this ride. If anyone understands bgt and swo ops after a new ride opens then they’ll see how this ride will have hands down the worst ops in the park. 1 train really bgt? That’s just stupid when you guys hire lazy workers who don’t care for pushing for fast dispatches. And then understaff attractions…this could’ve been added while keeping cheetah chase
I thought they said the seat would swing side to side a little bit?? What happened to that feature? Also, WTF B&M?! You can see how bad it shakes on the POV….
Montu, SheiKra, Falcon's Fury, and now Phoenix Rising. With all respect, aren't 2 Bird themed attractions enough for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay like Montu and SheiKra? Don't get me wrong, I do like the new attractions they've come up with for attraction but could they rename the other 2 rides other than birds that would also connect to Africa and Egypt for in the near future? Instead of Phoenix Rising, "Prometheus" The God of Fire in Egypt or "Dust Devil" Instead of Falcon's Fury, "Fearsome Fury" or something while they can keep the word "Fury" in the title
Family coasters are the easiest type of ride to make high capacity and sea world is out here doing shit like this. I sincerely hope this company goes under because between these garbage rides and the anti consumer crap they pull they genuinely deserve it.
@@SunsetVidsOfficial There are family coasters that have at least 1 inversion. Sooperdooperlooper is an example and Cheetah Hunt. The least they could do is have a barrell roll. Something easy 😁
Wow these are the most ugly suspended coaster trains yet. Bulky trains look good on big rides, but here it looks out of proportion. The layout it fine. It's a family coaster. But all in all a vekoma fsc would have been the better (prettier) choice.

They should at least have 1 inversion fr
I find them therapeutic, or even just a good way to start the day and get your heart ready for the more intense ones
lol

Not the lift hill being faster than Lightning Rod’s 😭
When you're running one train ops, you gotta do something to help speed up the process 😅
Looks like an 8mph lift. Lightning Rod's is 13mph.
Kiddo's are gonna love this
This looks fun. I cant wait to ride it!
Wow. I like this family coaster, great layout, fast lift hill and nice pacing. I would definitely ride it and get a coaster credit too. 👏👏👏👏

I wonder how long the line will get for this with one train
@@JamesonThomas24 About 30-50 minutes pretty much consistently would be my guess, especially in BGT which has very few family rides.
short cause people have better uses of thier time
Looks fun, just didn’t imagine it be so short tho. Excited to try it
This is definitely good for kids as an introduction to other rollercoasters.
0:57 perfect rails that’s my best favorite ride
Does it have the new B&M rattle or is this one actually smooth?
It has a vibration, but it doesn't take away from the ride experience.
Id imagine the new monsters inc roller coaster will be similar and tame like this one. Except it’s being built by Vekoma with their new swinging suspended coaster design.
We were here yesterday. The line for this ride was so long.
A family B&M???
I wish the cars swing out like on wolf, that's why would was cool. That and the awesome cars. No cars is sorta disappointing.
This is a lot like the dragon flyer at Dollywood.
What happened to the on board audio?
It wasn't working in this video. One of the ride ops told me that the rattle is causing issues with the onboard audio system. Even when the soundtrack is working, you can barely hear it.
I heard someone describe this ride as montu jr
Looks fun, but why the heck did they paint it blue? Like what a weird choice for a red bird known for bursting into flames.😅
They built this same coaster in Coney Island it’s the smoothest coaster I’ve ever been on it’s great. Or it has the same name and its really similiar

Kalin cameo 0:26
Creds a cred
I think it's possible that someone else with bare feet in a row behind, can slip in those sandals when the train departs.
Many family coasters do.
The train seems more Intamin Impulse-ish than B&M Inverty, maybe I’m wrong

Not tall enough for Montu? Try Mini Montu!!!!

i prefer the family inverterd coaster vekoma .. the b&m version are to slow and the layout not really interresting
A show that should've NEVER have been performed. Free the orcas!
This is so scary
Don’t worry if you need a tamer ride there’s X2
Falcon's Fury is just a few steps away!

walking to the bathroom seems more fun then this
So shaky looking! B&Ms quality really seems to be going downhill with their newer coasters, idk what is going on with them 🤷🏼♂️
Good ol' Boring & Mild
it’s a family coaster……….
It’s a ride meant for kids who aren’t tall enough for the big roller coasters, and people who don’t like the height or speed of big roller coasters.
So lame, and a total waste of real estate. They would have been better off putting in an RMC raptor in that area.

Fr, why make a 1 train op attraction in a super busy park? Just mentally bankrupt
Damn this coaster needs at least 1 inversion or something. This feels so boring 😂

It’s a family ride what to inspect
Backlot stunt coaster is also a family ride, but it's 1000x better than this
