I can’t wait to read all 3 of these. I love how Ashlynn doesn’t sugar coat a book review for what it’s not. She totally gives her honest opinion and you can see that threw her reactions. All her emotions and excitement are so visibly shown threw her eyes her smile her face. She is one to wear her heart up front and I love that. Also she did leave room in these reviews for those who might still enjoy them more then she did due to preference. The way you were thanking your husband for the books you just meted my heart. So sweet and loving ❤ great review and so excited for Jade City. I just order all 3 books.

Dang you guys are convincing me to add more books to my TBR. As someone who reads mostly romcoms, I love seeing what he recommends and if Ashlynn likes it, cause it makes me feel like I could read it too. So far I have added red star, the blade itself, and Jade city to my tbr!

Awesome vlog ‼️💯💖😊😅 I listened to the audiobook of Dune after I watched the HBO film. And it was so good. I love how you and Ian encourage each other to try different genres of books. I have definitely tried different books thanks to the both you. Also I have already watched what you chose for Ian and awesome job done for the both you. I have also just finished The Inheritance Games and now I want to get into the next ones. 😅😊

I have ADHD, and if I was not stuck on a bus during a summer tour with a drum and bugle corps, a marching band type activity in the 80s I would have had hard time getting into it. This is because it was so descriptive. My friend sitting next to me finished it a couple days into the tour and once I got through a couple of chapters, I read it straight on the days that were travel days.
I am so excited that you read Jade city!!!! Those are my favorite books of all time and the series just keeps getting better and better. The series wrecked me

I also had some issues with the blade itself but i LOVED book 2 so much. Easy 5 stars for me. Book 3 I liked a little less than 2 but so worth to read them both still.

I had the same feelings as Ashlynn after reading The Blade Itself but kept reading the series. The books just got better and I safely say that Joe Abercrombie is one of the top fantasy authors for me. The characters are brilliant and their arcs intriguing. I hope she gives The Dark Tower series a go as well, except for the first book which is weird, the rest of them are such a ride. My favourite fantasy series for sure! 😍

I loved the Blade Itself and was really disappointed with Before They Are Hanged. I ended up DNFing the Last Argument of Kings.
