I graduated High School in 1982, Dancing Queen was played at School Dances and Parties and the Skating Rink.
1980 graduate here, and did we have it made… music through our childhood was the best no matter what genre you listen to❤❤❤❤

the brunette singer Frida is mezzo soprano voice,

I graduated in 1985 and if you didn’t have at least one ABBA cassette ready to go you were a LOSER! 😂 This was dragging Main Street music in my one traffic light 🚦 town? Or the next larger town dragging their Main Street that got so crowded it was bumper to bumper traffic? You had enough time to jump out of your car, hop in another, make a drag (loop) and then jump back in your original car when you met back up. The only rule was if someone jumped out of your car you had to stay on the drag until they jumped back in? And no mobile phones to call and yell at them? My girlfriend one night jumped in this dude’s car and me and my other girlfriend didn’t know who he was? But we went around and around and around and she never jumped back in. This went on for 3 hours? 😱 They went parking at the lake, do you know what parking is 🤔, he took her home and she beat us home because like idiots we stuck to the drag rules and stayed on the loop until finally there were 5 cars left and we gave up? 🙄 I was 2 hours past my curfew that night, got grounded, but she at least felt terrible. I remember so distinctly saying to her…..there are drag rules and you know this! You don’t just abandon your girls to go off with some strange dude parking and leave us going around and around in a loop. My Dad was SO mad! Which scared her because this was Monday at school (cause I wouldn’t talk to her on my rotary dial home phone) and my Dad was her principal. She thought she was somehow going to get in trouble too? I was like, what can he do, this was Saturday Night, not school time, the only thing you did was make me miss my curfew and face Dad sitting there in his recliner when I got home! Good grief! 😂 😂 This was like the biggest tragedy of the moment or something, I mean drama filled. 🎭 I actually told her, he could have killed you and we were so worried! Turns out he went to her church but we didn’t so we didn’t know him? 😂 😂 😂 Good grief! You haven’t lived until you have done loops to see everyone on a drag! T ✌🏻
