Vernon Hills, IL Whelen WPS 2806 Siren Test, Full Fast Wail & Voice (4x) w/Ambience

Decided to head over to Vernon Hills again and film their last remaining ESC-864 Whelen. Before it goes off, you can hear Buffalo Grove and Lincolnshire's 2001s and maybe Whelens doing alert from Arlington Heights. This was a decently loud Whelen, and it still vibrated my body. I hope this would stay because It isn't as loud as a 4004, so it is more likely to get replaced, and this might've been it's last test but don't quote me on that, lol. The echoes during voice are pretty good, since there are some tall buildings near the siren. Anyway, Hope you all enjoy!

Oh boy I’m quite familiar with this siren. The public works facility that it’s on the property of used to be a NIKE missile launch site. The asphalt surrounding the buildings actually still have the silo doors in the ground in a few spots. You can actually see one of the silo door sets right to the left of the black pickup truck in the background at 7:32 near the top of the screen.

Thanks! I love the echoes on voice. It sounds as if there is more than one ESC-864 siren, but this is their last one and all the 4004s near this are ESC-2030. That proves that it is echoes lol

This is actually Whelen’s “Attack”, not Wail.
I’m well aware of that lol. It is technically fast wail tho. The Whelen wail function is technically attack as attack and wail are basically the same thing
