Thank you for this beautiful version of Ave Maris Stella. I wrote one of my papers in seminary on the theology of this hymn many years ago. I was quoting this hymn in a homily for the Solemnity of Mary Mother of God, January 1. It helped to hear it again.

Well done with you performance. Take note that many amateur choirs, and most orchestras use sheet music as they only have a few rehearsals before every concert. School choirs and solists that play from memory usually have many months to practice. Also, many school choir members can't read sheet music, so singing from memory is a good idea.
