The sound they make when you put them on is perhaps the best advice I've heard for fitting boots.
Can I please ask what your foot measures in cm? Left and right. I noticed an online article that said you fit perfectly a 9.5G UK in RM Williams craftsman. I think we have the same size foot...would really like to know your foot measurements in cm. Thanks
Idk how, but you managed to pull off the Canadian tuxedo right here and it looks good!
Heel slippage is the first thing to check for in a Chelsea. If you’ve gone up and you’ve gone down and you still have heel slippage, it’s best to go for another style Chelsea.
Another point to note, is some feet just won't hold a chelsea boot. My skinny ankles and super low volume feet just bang around in them, even if the footbed is perfect :-/
Same, chelseas feel so weird around my ankles. Wish i could wear them but tbh the experience is like walking around in buckets
Any brands for us skinny ankles and low instep peeps?
I’m the same problem I have skinny ankleI I bought Chelsea boots two time and I have to order size dawn and the length is not enough and it’s begin to hurt my big toe if I order normal size its wide😢
@saeedebrahimi4440 some of us just have to accept that certain boots/shapes won't work with our feet. So when you find something that works it's amazing
I'm the other way. I have super high arches. Anything with laces makes the top of my foot ache. I live in Chelsea boots and Dansko clogs
My jean hem usually gets stuck/caught on the pull strap at the top of the boot like when I squat down and get back up
Same here but my Beckett Simonon's have two pull tabs but they're not even two weeks and four wears old.
This would have been so helpful two years ago 😂😭 Anyways thanks for the tips - especially the last one 👌
Thank you! These informations were lifesaver 👌🏼
Unfortunately, this video was not around when I bought my Thursdays Chelsea boots storm king sole.
Thoese things are huge now I can't wear it any more 😢
Same holds true for western boots. The way I describe it is struggle struggle pop. I used to get that fit in Laramie. It was a sad day for me when they went out of business because I haven’t found a fit like that since. I can’t believe people buy western boots mail order.
Good video
Liked the advices and the Mario jump😎
Perfect video thank you
I've broken in 2 pair of the same boots. The first pair i broken in properly, took my time wearing around the house, then light use on weekends, then they became my daily work boots. I still have them. They are perfect. The other pair, i wore on my way to work. Broke them in by wearing them. Total disaster. They stretched the heel cup out differently then the first pair. So they didn't snap into place the same way. Created a little bit of heel lift as i walked. And permanently felt like my feet were slightly further back in the boot. I has to give those away.
Since there are no laces to adjust, take your time breaking them in. It makes the difference!
What jacket is this
Hi. If its a bit narrow at the ball..but not tingle after wear, what's the best way to stretch that area ? Some say steam, some fill it with water (?), ... thanks
So the same as any other footwear?
Eu prefiro a com couro camurça marrom café com bico redondo
Actually the ball of the foot should not be the widest part of the foot. The toes should be the widest when they are healty, but with this type of boot they get cramped.
"Shouldn't cram your toes too much"
No no, they shouldn't cram your toes at all. There should be enough room to spread your toes out. If you're not wearing foot-shaped shoes then you're ruining your own future. Try something like the Lems Chelsea boot instead.
This type of video doesn’t make much sense because everyone’s standard for a good fit is subjective. Some like it tight some loose. Some like it tight with certain shoes and loose with others…
No cuffs with boot just keep repeating myself
Hipsters can’t help themselves
All Chelsea boots fit. They are fit for the bin.
If you're a man, not a hipster in Brooklyn wearing a Carhartt cap indoors with a little beard as a substitute for masculinity... then you shouldn't have Chelsea boots.
This nerd has never heard of Redbacks lol
Stop calling boots Chelsea ur men
So, like any other shoe you'd ever buy
