Prayers to all in the path of Hurricane Beryl. Jamaica, Grand Cayman Islands, and Cozumel, Mexico are all in its path. Also, I did write an email to Disney Cruise Line about the situation stating I was not asking for anything, but rather just stating input to better the experience for other cruisers if this ever happened to someone else. No response besides a generic "Thank you for submitting an email to us." Figures.
Today I finally got a reply from my email. There was an apology and seemed like a sincere reply to retrain the luggage hall employees for areas of concern. However, at the current time being, I feel it will be a while until I pay for a Disney Cruise. I'll stick with Royal Caribbean or Norwegian.
@@warrenokuma7264 Pretty much will. I gladly gave my money to Royal Caribbean for next year. Anyway, my son is getting older and was not interested in any of the characters.
Yes he loved it! But he said he loved Japan more. It wasn't my one of my favorite countries to be honest besides the food but I promised we'd try another city one day since he loved it so much. That's because he loves anime and Pokemon.
Your son has surely benefited from having a mom who shares so many life experiences with him. Thank you for planning all these travel opportunities and cultural activities for him. What a blessing! 🤩
Thanks for sharing another vacation with us and all the tips, food reviews and all the hard work it entails. Much appreciated !! You're an exceptional mom giving Aiden all these experiences. Glad you both seem to have fun ....until the end....
You inspire me! My first cruise was last year on NCL to Alaska. I'm going NCL again to Maine this Oct. I'll for sure do Disney in 2025 because of you! Wow, such growth! Last time I commented was during Covid and you had 100 views. Now you've got thousands!!! Great job, great content!
Thanks Justin! Yes just put an air tag in your luggage so what happened to us doesn't happen to you. If you want to just sample how the Disney Cruise works, from Hawaii I think it is best to do the Baja Mexico cruises. Some are 3 days some are 5 and they port out of San Diego. It's a shorter flight and cheaper than a Florida one. Once you're hooked then you can try the Florida, Alaska or European ones. 😊
Loved your video Misty! Thanks for sharing like always. Couldn't help notice that your son loves seafood and is very adventurous with food. Great job Mom!
@alejandrab.925 Mahalo Alejandra! Yes he loves seafood and will even eat salads. I am so lucky he is open minded and will try different things. Some things he doesn't like but that's understandable as we all like different things. Mahalo for watching!
OMG loved this video to da max. Your son looked so happy and actually lead the way most of the cruise. You cracked me up and enjoying it more and more each minute passing. Those meals looked so ONO . You should be nominated "Mom of the Year". Mahalo for including us on your journey just missing the devastating events happening now. Malama Pono. for being humble. FYI I loved your cabin
Hi Sista. What a great trip. Never been cruising. Food looks ono. what a great bonding experience for you and your son. Loved the video. God bless sis.
Thank you! It's never to late to cruise with them as adults on a nicer ship like Princess or Seabourne. Also heard Crystal Cruises are great for adults!
Thank you for taking us along on your Disney cruise! I love how you plan trips out so thoroughly and always have entertaining excursions and sea day activities for Aiden. What fun you both had on the ship❣️ We were on the Disney Wonder on an Alaska cruise and it was such a fun time - Disney is so family oriented with activities galore onboard! Our grandsons loved the cruise and as it was their first cruise they were so excited to select their favorite excursions. We had been to Alaska several times before on other cruise lines but Disney is just so special. We also had the animation activity at Animators’ Palette but no fireworks due to environmental concerns in Alaska. We had Frozen night instead of Pirates’ night, still a fun night. I’m so sorry you had problems after disembarking. Unfortunately, we have experienced the occasional non-stellar crew member on other cruise lines, but your experience takes the cake! Fortunately cabin stewards and dining room staff have always been super. Take good care, I’m very happy that you had so much fun in Canada for some alone time! Happy future trip planning 🤩
Mahalo Janice! What a great Alaska cruise that you described on the Wonder. We went to Baja Mexico on the Wonder when Aiden was 5 and filmed that. A Frozen Night sounds so cool and matches the weather of Alaska. How creative! The thing that bothered me is everyone on the ship providing great service was from a 3rd world country (as all cruises are like) and working so hard for little pay. And the people that were rude and unhelpful on land were American employees that get paid much more than the people on the ship. Sad.
Wow, I watched the whole vlog! You’re a great Mom to take him on such wonderful vacations! Things do happen on ships. My son left his wallet in the safe, went back after he realized it and it was gone 😟 After a month, he received it but he had some gift cards which were taken but he was glad to have his drivers license.
This was fun. Thank you! Your son looked happy and so did you. That luggage situation at the end would put me off as well. Kinda want to go on a cruise, but much to people-y for me! Also, I liked the porthole - looks like there was a cushion you could sit on and look out if you wanted.👍
Cruises are not that bad. I hate large crowds but I can tolerate it. Where else can you visit many places with room and food included for a low price? Disney Cruises are double the price but if you go on Norweigan or Royal Carribean it's super cheap.
So sorry to hear Misty!! The lady should have called Security, Lost and Found, Etc right in front of you and then get back to you. She should have taken your cell number and told you I will call you in 30 min to tell you my findings. Then given you the number to Guest Claims to file a complaint and possible compensation. (Disney has a Guest Claims for everything).
Aloha Sean! Yeah the three interactions with the three different individuals off the ship that represented Disney were not much help. There was also another lady, but the story is too long LOL. But oh well it worked out in the end.
Thank you for sharing your cruise experience with your son. Glad you had a great time but sorry it ended so poorly. Years ago, we had a consultant come in at one of our quarterly meetings to talk about customer experience. He mentioned Disney and their "imagineering" and how they went from a very family-friendly, excellent customer experience to management being clueless as to how attendance fell off at their parks. Lo and behold it was how they had kept on raising prices on everything but falling off on customer service. They had to retrain everyone to remember that it's everyone's responsibility to keep the customer delighted. Example: That means if there's a kid crying, you find out why in a caring way and comfort the kid, especially if the child is lost. Fast forward to today's post-Covid world and just about everyone involved as corporate service providers seems to have forgotten that. The cruise experience doesn't end when you get off the ship. Continue the customer delight mentality on-boarding through off-boarding, front-end through back-end. Sorry my own little rant but I see this all the time. It's like "Oh he's just an old Asian guy, he won't complain." Oh yeah? One word: YELP!
Interesting about the comparison. I don't even care about stellar service. Just do your job is all I care about. I'm used to fast and rude service on the east coast but they get it done. The thing that annoyed me was the standing around and either not wanting to be there or not knowing what to do and the blame game. But oh well it all worked out in the end...without much of their help.
@@FoodFiend See this is what I like about your reviews. You tell it like it is. I like what you said about gaslighting. That's really insulting to try and play some kind of passive aggressive mind game. To me just a simple, "sorry we made a huge mistake" might've been a good start. But hey, cheer up and happy belated birthday.
I was waitng for you to try the gater & frog legs😊 All the food looked amazing. I think I would really enjoy a cruise, so relaxing. Plus I love the ocean. Hope Aiden has a good time. I know he sure did on the cruise. Your, you time now. Relax, reboot. Hope you're enjoying your next adventure 🙏♥️🍻🤙
Mahalo Carol! I've tried both already. Not a fan of frogs legs. I have a sensitive palate and no matter what people say I taste swamp water. Gator I like. It's like a poor man's lobster due to the texture. This was uploaded in reverse the the next adventure was Canada which I uploaded first due to being easier to edit. 🤙
Hi Misty, Looks like you and Aiden had a great time. The food looked yummy. I liked your choices. Sorry about your luggage. It happened to me twice with a local airlines. I don't blame you for being pissed especially with their attitude. I hope Aidan had fun with his dad after that fiasco.
LOL! What a way to start your video, too funny!!! Happy belated birthday wishes to you Misty! You were lucky you missed the hurricane that messed up Jamaica, very sad.
Fried gator, I had gator tails in Jacksonville with Cajun tartar sauce and it was bomb! I hope everybody is safe in Jamaica due to Beryl. Take care and i know you had a good time up till they lost Bubbas luggage. Cute your Mikey ears!!! LOL The food looked amazing! BTW HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISTY!
Great travel vlog Misty! This was really fun to see, thanks to you and Aiden for sharing your experience. I must say, that tube slide on the ship looked like a lot of fun! I’m really sorry for your experience at the very end. That should not have happened, and I’d be very ticked off too, most especially for the crappy attitude of the people “helping” you at the pickup location, as well as no real response to your email to them. P.S. Loved your BoSox hat!
I just came back from the Wish and they said to remove all previous flight tags on the luggage. Maybe they got things mixed up with the Hawaiian tags still on your luggage, so they just transferred to the airport knowing you would be there.
I also had a Hawaiian Airlines tag on my suitcase but it was there. I really think someone took it by accident and left it at the airport on the curb instead of being honest and turning it in and saying I took it by mistake. It is a black suitcase that looks like anyone else's. My suitcase sticks out so no one would take it. I know things happen and I am understanding but the thing that upset me is the crew member at the port just stood around not caring and not just for me also the 3 others that didn't have their luggage. Also the gentleman at the airport tried to blame me for leaving it at the port but then says it's at the airport. Makes no sense as it is far away. If he just said he found it unclaimed that would be fine. I also didn't mention when we got off the bus he just left it on the curb and walked away like nothing. No greeting, no apology or explanation of how it was found.
What an amazing trip! I watched the whole thing while eating my breakfast. That Jerked Chicken looked so good! I always wanted to know the ins and outs of taking a cruise, and this video was very informative. Sorry about lost bag! - they should really improve the process of dealing with lost bags.I know it’s gonna happen, but the guest should never feel gaslighted.
Thanks for watching the whole thing! Jerk chicken is my favorite! I learned a recipe for it from Terrence's mom since they are Jamaican. So good! Cruising is great because all the food, room etc are included and you can do what you want. If you don't want to do excursions or get off the ship, you can relax in the pool, room, read a book, etc. Yes a lost bag happens, but it was the attitude and lack of wanting to help that annoyed me.
It looks like an awesome time (except for the end)! I really want to try one of their cruises now. How long was the wait in line for the water slide? Too bad about their sushi being meh. Holland America has a great sushi bar and is always super busy. Thanks for the video.
Hey Stogie Sister! The line for the water slide varied. The first time we went it was about 30 minutes? That was the beginning of the cruise in the morning. We went again a couple of days after and the wait was about 10-15 mins. It is even emptier on port days when everyone gets off the ship for their excursions. As the week went on the line grew shorter because people weren't as excited about it anymore. The first day, the line is super long. One day I'd like to try Holland America or Princess. For now we are going with Royal Carribean since it's more affordable.
i love that your son is an adventurous foodie! good job, mom, expanding his palette! thanks for sharing! i'm not interested in cruises so it's really great to see in depth what you can experience! funny how he wasn't interested in the beach. hawaii kid!
Yes he now eats everything from salads, fish and meats. The only thing he won't eat is lamb because it's his favorite animal. He even eats filipino diniguan which is porks blood. He doesn't like the beach because the sand gets in his shorts and he gets sand burn. He prefers the pool with no sand. It gets so bad he can't walk with the sand burn.
thank u for your video i love cruises so much food n loved the shore excursions aiden looked so happy what an fantastic memories youre making with your son
🌺 Aloha Misty, Wow, to be honest I really enjoyed watching this vlog all the way to the end. Mahalo for sharing, I always wanted to do a Disney Cruise with my family but never did 😢! However, I watched your Disney trip through your eyes. Thank you! I can’t believe they said they couldn’t find your luggage. Omg! Yeah, I would of been 😤 pissed! It was worth watching your vlog. I hope you make it an annual event for you and Aiden, especially now you can watch the warnings signs. 🤙🏽 Aloha…🌺
Mahalo Rebecca! Yes you should try a cruise. Maybe not with Disney. Maybe another one like Royal Caribbean. We are trying them next year. They are cheaper. Disney Cruises are 3 times more expensive. We always do a summer trip and I also try to fit in spring break trips too if possible - like our Japan trip. I am glad you enjoyed the video and watched until the end! Thank you!
never did go on a cruise. At my age, and heart cond., I can't walk very far no more. However, I'd like to send my family on a disney cruise. Looks like lotsa fun. Sorry that baggage thing happened. enjoyable video!
You can probably still do a cruise and rent a scooter. Lots of elderly folks were on their electronic scooters and parked them outside their cabin door. They fit in the elevators etc. 😊
Really enjoyed the detailed coverage of your cruise. I feel like I was cruising with you! Also, appreciated the detailed descriptions and depictions of the food. It's tough when your suitcase looks like everyone else's. I usually put a red ribbon or some distinguishing loud neon luggage belt around my black suitcase so it stands out. You make a good case, though, for maybe eventually replacing my black bag for a unique color in the future.
Thank you! That is a compliment that you felt like you were cruising with us. Our bag had a ribbon and a bright florescent yellow lock. But people these days just grab and don't even look. I will be buying those really ugly suitcase covers that go over them. I'll pick something ugly and bright LOL
Sorry for the sub-par service you encountered. From my knowledge, anything OFF the ship (luggage in terminals, etc.) is not handle by the cruise line's personnel. Ditto with the staff that check you onboard... they may wear the respective cruise line's insignia but most of them are day contractors. PS: We ALWAYS do the 'self walk-off' where we're responsible to carry our luggage off the ship. Generally... we're off the ship earlier than the masses. Cool off and... Cruise Again !!!
@classyfiftynine8208 good to know for other cruises. For Disney the people off port are still part of Disney. They have their own section of Port Canaveral because they're so rich. Also the people off port have Disney uniforms. Also they have their own section in the airport where the bus takes you so the employee that dumped our luggage on the curb and accused me of leaving it at the port was also a Disney employee. The bus drivers are also with Disney. All have their uniforms.
Hi Misty 👋 How funny was the ship horn ! 51:01 how cool is the Animated Drawings , very clever ! Kudos to your tour guide to get you a sneaky Jamaican Meat Pie Patty 😋 Nothing worst than not finding your bag 💼 but good you were reunited with your bag at the airport. But how did they know where to send it , interesting ? What if you were not going to the airport ? Yep I would definitely haul my bags off next time ! 🛳️ These cruises just look like a food feast , I think I’ll be putting on weight with my 18 night cruise home from Hawaii in Oct .Lol By the way , did you use a GoPro for your water/snorkeling stuff ? Cheers Rod 🤙
Hi Rod! Yes they have an array of horns that play Disney songs. I only caught 2. I use a DJI Osmo Action 4 for the underwater footage. I used it for the whole cruise and Canada as I didn't have room to drag a big Sony Camera. Works well. I steered away from Go Pro. I owned 4 different models and it always would get stuck and glitch or overheat . 🤙
Actually the port of Miami temporarily lost my bag from a Carnival ship. They ended up sending it to my house a couple of days later. Thankfully I wasn’t doing anything after the cruise. We carry off our own now. Haha Thanks for the vlog!
@@FoodFiend ummmm... they didn't show much concern. haha, I think it's really port employees and not people who work for the cruise line itself. When we cruised out of NYC the port employee wanted to help me find my suitcase. My suitcase wasn't lost she just wanted to help by pointing out every single purple suitcase. It was actually taking longer than if I just scanned the pile myself.lol
I do it all myself. Every vacation I do I plan and buy direct. I don't do third party anymore because I lost a lot of money during covid. Third party won't refund you or give you the run around. The plane far for round-trip to Florida was a little over $900 through Hawaiian Airlines and their partner Jet Blue.
I always wanted to go on a cruise -- until I went on a cruise. Way too many people, mediocre food (except for ethnic cuisines), nothing to do but buy stuff I didn't need, etc. Then there was the time I got roped into listening to a spiel about timeshares on an excursion. Best part for me was actually sitting out on the lanai with my breakfast. But then that wasn't on Disney which is jacked up expensive. Plus, my husband was paid to be on one of the cruises (Princess) as a part of a jazz band. I feel you on the baggage screw-up. Try Princess next time. They're amazing.
I love cruises. Just not what happened once we stepped off the ship. I thought the food was really great which is why we always sailed with Disney. Even room service is free except for the tip. Next year we are going with Royal Carribean. Can't beat the price to see so many countries in one shot.
OK I got so much to say lol. First love the mickey, hahaha second, sting rays, you're brave! Animator's palate looks so good. Fireworks, ewa beach at Sea hahaha. Come cruise w us next time lol
Odyssey of the Seas. 😊 even though I love my job after coming back we are so short we will be working days off and all holidays. No breaks for me which is why I take vacation often. I just can't deal...
Mahalo for the tip! I unfortunately don't use iPhones though. Would it work with an Android. I just don't like iPhones. I can't get used to the layout. You should do a cruise! They are so good and so much food!
@@FoodFiend oh yes android has many more options. Samsung has their own version called Galaxy Smart tags and other companies make gps trackers for android. They all work the same. The tags give you a peace of mind knowing where your luggage or anything you clip it too. I shipped a box home from Las Vegas through UPS and followed it with my tag & tracking number and it was so accurate. I have one in my car so I know where my son is all the time when he’s used it 😂. Wifey & I are planning a cruise one day. Love your videos 🤙🏼
Lol! Being red not from sunburn but from Red Stripe 🤣. I have the Asian booze curse and turn red automatic 😳, no make any difference i enjoy me a good whiskey. I'd feel the same way with the lost luggage and the meh/flippant attitudes. Feel like that's how it is in the service industry and many others, sucks and lame 👎. But it was great to see you get to do and share so much with your son, especially making time and indulging yourself, Happy Belated Birthday 👍🥳💆♀️!
Thanks girl! Glad you had a laugh out of that. I'm weird. Sometimes I turn red, sometimes not. Not sure if it's because I ate something prior, but sometimes don't turn red on an empty stomach. 🤷♀I cannot really drink whiskey. I feel horrible, but for some reason I have a bourbon collection at home LOL.
@alant.541 Thanks Alan! I'll be working like usual on all holidays and weekends. That why I take so many vacations. No days off for months. It takes a toll on the body but retirement is 4 years away!
Your cruise looked amazing up until the mess with your luggage at the end. That is really disappointing especially given the Disney name. You paid a good penny cruising with Disney. Sorry to hear that you experienced this. Hope your note to Disney results in something positive! Appreciate you filming and editing.....must be a ton of work. The end product is awesome and very much enjoyed watching. Thanks again. BTW....all that food looked amazing!!!
Aloha! Hopefully but they haven't responded at all. So not expecting anything from them as in correcting the service off ship. Sadly all the employees that gave great service are from 3rd world countries as all ships have. They probably get paid very little. The people on shore are Americans that get paid more and give the chappies service compared to the ship staff. The food was great and I'm sure I can find the same on Riyal Carribean next year for more than half the price.
My sister said the Jamaica you got to see is unfortunately gone. Terrible tragedy. Shows again how nothing is promised to anyone. Sorry for the bummer attitude. Now about this cruise....true how first impressions and last impressions stick with you. I understand about rethinking on whether you take another Disney cruise. But except for the bad experience with the luggage (lucky you got it back), it sounds like it was a great experience. And Aiden gets unlimited ice cream! A kid after my own heart. Never been on a Disney cruise, but seemed to be a good experience overall. Were those excursions ala carte/expensive or were they included as part of the cruise? Just as a comparison. Went to Italy, in Rome for 3 days. Luggage was not there when we arrived at the hotel. Good thing we packed a set of clothes in our carry-on. Our luggage showed up just as we were about to get on our tour bus to the next city. Luggage was at the airport, but was never delivered for 3 days! You were a lot luckier than me and my sister. 😂
Aloha Carol! The excursions on all cruises are a separate charge. You can go with an outside excursion but if you are late for any reason, such as a flat tire, etc. the ship will not wait for you. If you book through the cruise line the ship has to wait for you. It's more expensive but gives piece of mind. There are many excursions to pick from for each port. You don't have to do them. You can stay on the ship and relax or get off and walk around the town. Good thing you packed a set of clothes! This one was kind of a weird situation. He was going to visit his dad in Seattle and it is still cold there. So all his jeans and jackets were in there as well as shoes. But in the end it worked out. Still feel I wouldn't cruise with them again, especially being a member with them and getting no response from my email clearly states that they do not care. You can get the same or more for cheaper on Royal Caribbean or Norwegian. Plus Aiden is getting older and didn't want to have anything to do with the characters or shows. That's why I didn't show any of those. He didn't want to go to the shows they had.
@FoodFiend For sure can sail on so many other cruises than Disney. Yeah their lack of customer service says a lot. Same thing for us, I guess, we won't use Trafalgar (my brother's pick) as a tour company again. Again, Aiden's super mom is giving him so many memories. Lucky boy!
It was $110. Pricey but still better than sitting at the airport because you cannot check bags in until 3 hours before the flight. We got in at 10am and didn't have a flight until 6pm.
I don't think it was sent there. They made no sense. First they said I left it at the port. Then it somehow magically arrives at the airport before we got off the bus? The bus ride is a hour and a half. We looked all over and then jumped on the bus. Makes no sense. I think someone took our bag by mistake and ditched it without being honest and telling someone at the airport that they took the wrong bag. Then some employee finds it and dumps it on the curb after we exited the bus and walked away.
Wow! That was so uncool of Disney, Misty! I feel so bad😢 for you and your son, especially after the awesome time you two had… it’s super shitty to lose your luggage, and yeah what up with your “lost” luggage beating you guys to the airport!?? Something doesn’t sound right… somebody messed up and needs to come clean and make things right!!
Bummers that this trip ended on a very sour note! I’ve had the airlines lose my bags in the past, and ever since then, I always have a change of clothes in my hand carry. I’ve never been on a cruise, and I would never think they could lose any bags, since everyone/everything moves from the same ship to the same baggage pickup area. Worse than that is the terrible customer service and that pathetic attitude! I’ll be avoiding Disney Cruises!
Yes that is what I thought. They literally move the bags from the ship to the port right there. I think someone took our bag by mistake and ditched it at the airport. Which happens. It is the lack of service or trying to figure out the problem that bothered me. Then they try to blame you. We usually always have extra clothes but he was going to a colder place to visit his dad. And he needed the jacket and jeans, etc. that was in the suitcase.
@@FoodFiend You are right about passengers grabbing the wrong bag(s) and leaving them somewhere (funny how BOTH yours and Aiden's were missing...? Hope all your belongings were intact). For a company as big and experienced as Disney, they should have some kind of procedure in place for such cases, and they should have given you a better answer. It's a good thing Aiden got his bag in the end - he definitely needed all that warmer clothing! I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of the trip - looked like fun and it inspired me to look into taking a cruise someday.
Baggage situations across the country is a very bad issue. Where strangers just take people's bag and steal them. Why aren't there better security checking people as they leave the baggage area?! And in the day & age of handheld scanners, why can't their be better tracking and accountability?! The scans will go immediately into a database. Upon he person/customers return home, all of that data could be erased, so no large accumil=ation of information...just for tracking purposes. Security people check our purchases as we leave COSTCO and Best Buy, why not all the baggage as it moves around, especially if it was still be controlled and accounted for by the cruise line?! Airports really need to do a way better job of this also, some are so irresponsible about baggage.
Yes only lost my luggage once with United, but that is when they were very terrible when merging with Continental. Now it's not so bad. My luggage that I only used twice was damaged by WestJet when going to Canada. I don't think it can be repaired. At the end of the day, we got the suitcase back. But there should be better steps because people are idiots and just take any bag that looks like theirs without looking. We did have a florescent bright yellow lock and ribbon on it but that didn't help.
Prayers to all in the path of Hurricane Beryl. Jamaica, Grand Cayman Islands, and Cozumel, Mexico are all in its path.
Aw that is terrible about the wallet but I'm glad he got it back! Thanks for watching the whole vlog! We still had a great time on the actual ship. 🤙
Aden is my kinda guy 🤙🤙🤙. I would have picked the Chocolate Brownie Sundae, enjoy 😋.
You'd be his best friend! Sorry thought I replied to you but checked and I didn't. 🤙
I was waitng for you to try the gater & frog legs😊
All the food looked amazing.
Ouch, a great experience can always be ruined with one thing 😭 glad you guys still had so much fun though 🤙🏽
Yeah it's okay though. I'll give my money to another cruise line. Main thing we had fun on the actual ship.
I use AirTags now in all my luggage!!
I was never interested in dong a cruise, but this ship is amazing! Great video and I'm not even finished watching it!
You should! They are so fun and cheap considering how many countries you get to see and the room with food! Thanks for watching the video!
Hi Misty,
Looks like you and Aiden had a great time. The food looked yummy. I liked your choices. Sorry about your luggage. It happened to me twice with a local airlines. I don't blame you for being pissed especially with their attitude. I hope Aidan had fun with his dad after that fiasco.
Thank you! Yes, Aiden is having fun with his dad this summer. 🤙
Long one sistah! Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome.
😂😂😂😂 For daze u faka!
Love it!!!❤️❤️❤️

LOL! What a way to start your video, too funny!!! Happy belated birthday wishes to you Misty! You were lucky you missed the hurricane that messed up Jamaica, very sad.
Thanks Paula! Glad you found it funny. Yeah also messed up Grand Cayman yesterday and pounding Cozumel right now. :(
Fried gator, I had gator tails in Jacksonville with Cajun tartar sauce and it was bomb! I hope everybody is safe in Jamaica due to Beryl. Take care and i know you had a good time up till they lost Bubbas luggage. Cute your Mikey ears!!! LOL The food looked amazing! BTW HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISTY!
Mahalo Brian! I like gator but already tried it. If there's a choice between cran or gator I always go for the crab 🤣

Thanks! The 1928 cigars from PCC are so good.
@@FoodFiendI’ll check it out! 🤙🏽
Sorry about your luggage, we love DCL.. hope we never come across that situation :/
Thanks so much! 😊 The Aqua Duck ride is so fun! I got the Sox hat at Fenway when I went there last year in March 🤙
@@FoodFiend I enjoyed and loved your tour of Boston videos! Excellent!
@@FoodFiendAgreed that the service from these folks were awful. Don’t let that keep you from going on future Disney cruises.
Your Red Stripe comment had me dying! 😂😂

i love that your son is an adventurous foodie! good job, mom, expanding his palette! thanks for sharing! i'm not interested in cruises so it's really great to see in depth what you can experience! funny how he wasn't interested in the beach.

Thank you!
I love embassy suites
Yes their hotels are great. We stayed there in NY as well.
never did go on a cruise.
What a wonderful birthday getaway, until the very end part. Happy belated birthday! 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks so much! 😊
PS:
We ALWAYS do the 'self walk-off' where we're responsible to carry our luggage off the ship.
These cruises just look like a food feast , I think I’ll be putting on weight with my 18 night cruise home from Hawaii in Oct .Lol
By the way , did you use a GoPro for your water/snorkeling stuff ?
Haha
Thanks for the vlog!
I just looked through my camera roll and it took 4 days to get my luggage back!
Oh my. Well lost things happen and I hope they treated you better than us at Carnival than Disney did.
Crab looks ono! Did you go thru an agent, tour, Costco, or ... I'm curious about plane fare to the East Coast
I am halting any cruises with Disney. Actually I've never started. Take care, and keep on making awesome videos
Mahalo Dennis! I appreciate that you enjoy my videos.
OK I got so much to say lol. First love the mickey, hahaha second, sting rays, you're brave! Animator's palate looks so good. Fireworks, ewa beach at Sea hahaha. Come cruise w us next time lol

What an awesome vacation, minus the luggage fiasco. Should have used your video's opening line on the "helpful" crew member. Have a Happy 4th! 🎊
@alant.541 Thanks Alan! I'll be working like usual on all holidays and weekends. That why I take so many vacations. No days off for months. It takes a toll on the body but retirement is 4 years away!
Did they "Welcome aboard..." every family/group?
Yes that's what the do for every Disney Cruise.
I thought on embarkation Royal Court lunch was just for concierge guests?
You're probably right.
Lucky boy!
How much was the embassy suites use for the day only ?
It was $110. Pricey but still better than sitting at the airport because you cannot check bags in until 3 hours before the flight. We got in at 10am and didn't have a flight until 6pm.
Did Bubbas luggage ever show up?
Yes he dumped it on the curb at the airport after accusing me of leaving it at the port...but we were still on the bus like I mentioned.
So the notion that the bag could have been sent ahead was never even mentioned? That's pilau service.
That really sucks!!!
OMG! cry baby! Cursing and disrespecting viewers! A very classy lady! Lost luggage can happen to all cruise terminals and airports.
@@colo5220 🤣 it's not the lost luggage it's the way they handled it.
