If you've been to Tahoe... what are your favorite things to do?? Make a great list for everyone that will be going there 👍

Keep Your Daydream I've been once. Drove up with my friends and family while visiting my brother in Cali. Trip there was great! Beautiful scenery, weather was perfect. Took lots of pictures along the way. Topped the rise looking down on the lake. Stunning! As the goal for the trip was the casinos, and I don't gamble, my favorite thing to do once we got there was leave!

On the South Shore there is a restaurant called Nepheles which has 7 separate open air hot tub rooms in back, but still managed by the restaurant. It is particularly wonderful to use one when it is or recently had snowed, a beautiful juxtaposition. They will even deliver right to the hot tub room, a good bottle of wine and some snacks. nepheles.com/hot-spas/

Skiing! Lived in Reno for 10 years, loved the winter sports up there. Squaw Valley is still my favorite ski area...when they have snow. Also the hiking up there in the summer time is wonderful...all that granite makes for some great lakes. There are some awesome cliffs to jump from at Angora Lakes near Fallen Leaf Lake that is worthy of a visit too. Man...I need to get back there.

I completely agree with you. I think the smell in Lake Tahoe is the cleanest, purest, piney smell. My son was going out to Tahoe for a visit and I told him that and he said “you’re right”. You just step out of your car and take a breath and you never forget it..

Okay, I don’t usually groupie-up these days, but I just want to say I love you guys!!!
I’m a retired empty-nester and I just got a toy-hauler to take on the road with my art. It’s great watching you and picking up tips & tricks.
But the main reason I love watching you is your family is so transparent - what we see is the real family. . I’m sure you have behind-the-scenes moments as all of us do. But I just love your dynamics!!! I’m sure we’d get along nicely! Don’t give up your VIDEOS!
    Thanks bunches! Lauri

This morning, she was sitting across the table while I played it, and she actually where you were you were and said we need to go there when we finally go full time! Great job guys!

Oh wow fantastic footage Marc..we were there last year and we went to north lake Tahoe area and stayed in our RV at the Zephyr Cove RV park.. we hung out and walked around all the different areas and gift shops which is a really great place also ate at the lodge across the street from the RV park I forget the name at the moment. Then we ended up going to Apple Hill on the California side which is an hour and a half away from Lake Tahoe and it is a really wonderful place with a bunch of venues in different areas where they grow apples find the trees through many different Orchards, you can go down there and taste so many different types of apples that I didn't even know existed they have apple pies that are to die for, pastries, and all kinds of food, and honey, it's like a huge Farmers Market I could go on and on telling you all about this stuff you should try that out it is a phenomenal experience. Like I said you can visit so many different Orchards and sometimes they got all these little venues and Market table set up with different things chairs made out of wine barrels lots of fun stuff we're going to go up there this year maybe in a week and I'll let you know what we experience then thanks for all you guys do you guys are awesome talk to you soon

Just spent a week there in our first travel trailer (a 26 foot Starcraft Autumn Ridge) . I want to say thanks for the videos, especially the setup and tear down vids. They have helped ENORMOUSLY! Me, the wife and 2 kids + daughters friend escaped the heat of Las Vegas and stayed a week in one of the only RV Parks that was open. ( thank you Tahoe Valley R.V. Park). We are being referred to as, The Covid Campers, even though we don't actually have the Corona Virus because a lot of people are buying one. Ok, done rambling. Keep up the awesome videos you have a beautiful family.

There is a great cache at the bottom of Lake Tahoe I got about 5 years ago. It's a 15 to 20 foot free dive and the water is sub 60 below the surface. It requires removing a red container from a chain and then removing the cache from a thermos. It was great. Only 14 people have signed the log.

Hey guys! Again... another place to add to our list! I bet our kids would love Lake Tahoe in the summer, and the tunnels are really neat. Taylor Anne would want to tag those with some artwork of her own! We have been involved in Letterboxing, which is similar to geocaching. I love that it gives us an 'excuse' (as if we need one!) to get out and hike.

When I go to Tahoe I always take a day to go to Atlantis spa in Reno. THE BEST SPA ! Spend the day there.

You forgot to mention how frigid that water is and how intense the Sierra sun is. Your skin will be FRIED if you're not careful, and quickly!
Tahoe is beautiful year round. It's hard to have a bad time, unless you just don't like natural beauty.

Love your videos. Honeymooned there in the 90's, it was June and there was still skiing on top of Squaw Valley. Rented a boat and froze lol, but I will never forget how crystal clear the water was.

Lol... well, based reading the comments over the past year or so, I have a pretty good idea. As you know, we're producing videos for the KYD community, not RUclips or "the numbers". That's why we've included more personal stuff, family relations and other things that the community has asked for. Others just want the videos to be something we're not able to provide :)

Keep Your Daydream speaking of numbers I would like to be one of the first to wish you congrats on 5,000,000 views! I agree it is not about the numbers but shows you how much your channel and videos are loved! Keep it up for you viewers. Let us help you get to 100,000 subscribers!!!!

I love your look at Tahoe. I was so totally wrong about how expensive it would be to go there. I also think that it is really cool that you found the Geo Cache. I hope they KYD stickers are still there when (if) we make it there but the chances are slim. It did make me think of something I would like to suggest: you should sign and note the location so the KYD stickers are "Super Special Edition" KYD stickers. The most important thing to let you know is that you have inspired my wife and I. We are remodeling with plans to hit the road in May. Thank you so much

So great. We totally need to place our own caches. That would be fun. Then people can post picture on IG. Good idea. Glad we were able to help inspire. We're happy to be just a small part of your journey. Oh, on the expense, we've found that RV travel has made the most expensive places affordable. However, Tahoe isn't so bad expect for the fancy ski resorts.

Thanks for all the excellent Lake Tahoe tips, suggestions, and general information.
I could easily see spending the whole summer (or winter!) there.
I just checked AllTrails, and there are a variety of decent RV parks and campgrounds around the lake.
    Stay Saucy, People!
