I this question has nothing to do with this video but did you start your journey into IT with aci learning? & what advice would you give someone looking to start with no previous experience?

If you have absolutely no knowledge of tech in the PC world, I'd probably recommend the CompTIA ITF+ certification, that will teach you the basic of the basic. From there I'd recommend the CompTIA A+ certification to understand the basic concepts of computer software and hardware more in depth. Just those two things will help get your foot in the door with a help desk job at the very least.
From there you can sort of decide what you want to begin to specialize in. There are the "big 3" certifications you can go with, that being the A+, the Net+, and Sec+. Those will give you the foundations of what I'd argue are required knowledge for any IT industry novice like myself.

@@snakejazz wow, thank you for the quick response, I really appreciate it. I was going to sign up with aci learning tomorrow. I was also looking into cloud engineer roles and trying to figure out the best possible way to reverse engineer my route. How did you manage the online courses? Is it practical to study a couple hours every evening or does it require more hours daily. Apologies if I’m being a pain.
      Thanks again your the man!

@@iamsat881 no worries bro, happy to offer whatever perspective I've got. I ultimately was reverse engineering (all of) my past jobs and life experience and decided IT made the most sense and has the easiest barrier to entry that I could come up with.
I was on unemployment for a whole year during the pandemic, so I was able to study on my own time, I spent about 2.5 months studying for the A+ exams, there are two.
I studied a little bit everyday, but that's also cuz I had nothing but time. I used RUclips resources, Professor Messer was the best one. I'm not familiar with ACI learning but sounds similar to Udemy or other online training websites. Definitely use those if you're like me and never finished college and hated classrooms.

@@snakejazz with udemy there are so many to choose from (CompTIA itf+) I imagine they are all the same? Or would you recommend purchasing one that has practice exams?
