I had the Chieftain 120 from a chest. I sold it for silver as I was newer at the time and I wanted it for something else. The Chieftain now sits in my store for $5 mil silver .. Thought that they had made a mistake today and posted on WG discord.. Nope nope Max said there was no mistake. So this shows they only wanted players to pay gold .. which costs real money. They are really showing that they don't care.
They changed the premium tech tree a couple years ago because it use to be when you sold a premium you had to re buy for gold again and people didn't want to pay it twice so now if you sell premiums I'm the tree you can still rebuy them but only for tanks sold after the change to my knowledge because there was some that I sold before that I still cant buy back for silver but now you know!

Full Gold price for the Kunze Panzer is 17,500 Gold. At the in game convert Gold to Silver is 1 to 400. So 17,500 would be 7,000,000 silver. Buying it for Silver is 75,000,000, roughly 11 times more expensive. Another missed opportunity.
If you were to buy silver while it's on sale you would need 150,000 gold or $600 to get one of the tier tens. Why not just put them on discount for free xp like they've done for the last 10 years

I chalk it up to funding. I disagree with eclipse that the game isn't dieing, yes its at a steady player base but it's half of what it was before update 6.0. Veterans will remember the economy being much cheaper and alot less micro transactions when there was a larger player base. Now they gotta squeeze the 20k or so of us left to stay afloat. Honestly we should all expect this behavior. But the player base gets more frustrated with this influx of micro transactions which drives more people away so it only gets worse because they insist on doubling down.

Wot vet here been on and off playing since 2008! I haven't played since they added the 30mm. The game was already ridiculously broken with auto loaders then they just full send on the stupidity meter with that thing. Before I quit I was using the 45 tp got matched with 8s and 9s almost EVERY SINGLE MATCH!!!! I think I got roughly 30 40 games in that tank and maybe 5 to 6 of them if that where actually tier 6,7 with a few 8s🙃.
I bought the 279E and the one with the siege mode. I had over 200M in silver with nothing to spend it on anyway. I would rather spend free in game currency than actual real money on gold. I don't grind tech trees unless I see something I really want in the line. I don't care about having all the tanks in game or grinding everyday. So that stack of silver finally had a good use for me. I play about 5k games a year, and I don't know if that is high or casual levels of play. The cost of gold is too high for me to justify spending real money. Just my thought on it. I was glad for this sale.

In my case I had nearly 90 million silver. To put in perspective i spent less then $200 in the game over the course of 10 years playing. This cybermonday sale they had to me was a steal I guess. I bought the 25000 gold ($100 usd) to purchase the 279e, 121b, and used silver to buy the kunze panzer. Wanted the double tap since those tanks are pretty rare to see like the 121b (or even the T22 Russian medium tier 10) but I did not want to spend more money so I will use my remaining gold to get the (2000 gold) season pass. With that being said I don’t think I ever seen WG console release a sale like this. To me this shows the budget for WOT console is not doing to good and will start putting tanks like Taran, and AVRE back on sale to make some profit. I wish WOT PC can somehow take ownership of WOT console since us console players are generations behind PC. Could get a PC but honestly don’t need it lol.

I drained my account hard. I had nearly a billion credits and I have a fair chunk of gold too. What else are you going to spend that silver on? I spent mine in a pinch. Literally nothing else to do with it.
Was playing over 10 yrs since Feb 2014 Got 566 millon silver. Just got the hy rid 120. Such a shame i dont wanna play this game anymore. Not played since new year . Still not p,aing until they fix the balance. Not willing to waste my time and money any more.
I think the option to do this is fantastic, but the pricing is wrong. 100m silver is way too much. The WW2 tanks should be like half that price and it would still be 5+× the silver cost of a TT tier 10. The big thing though is gifting. So I could gift my son the 121B for silver and still get both tier 9s for silver. I started with 330m and still have 70m after equipping. Just don't forget to equip and camo them before the sales end.
I had enough silver credits to purchase two of the tanks. But none of them presented any interest to me. I wish I could understand why those tanks were picked. To me, they don't have anything that make them fun to play.

Absurd. The silver buy back cost for a tier X is 9 million silver, not 50 or 100 million. If you're smart, you'll steal granny's cat food money and but the tank at the discount gold price, then use any silver to buy up big on boosters, esp 2x silver. I run 2x on 6 era 3 tanks in CW and can add 1.5 million silver to the bank every day, with just 6 games, easy. Plus the 5x or better tank Xp and commander xp are good to have when the grind loses its shine.
It’s very interesting how the mode that makes the most silver has the two cheapest for silver tanks 🙄🙄 they don’t even try to hide their hatred for WW2 players anymore. Charging us more for tanks like this and constantly adding toxic tanks into WW2 has truly pushed a lot of people away from this game. I still play but only on occasions or enough to finish a season pass when there’s a tank I actually want (very rarely do I want anything other then the tier 10’s when they’re in it)

Look at the bigger picture. If they gave away Tier 9s and 10s for peanuts to people who have never grinded past tier 5 the game would be further damaged as it is when giving away powerful top tier tanks in a 6k season pass. With that being said I don’t think I ever seen WG console release a sale like this. To me this shows the budget for WOT console is not doing to good and will start putting tanks like Taran, and AVRE back on sale to make some profit.

I bought the OBJ 279 E...for 100 million silver. Not really impressed with it so I tried selling it back to WG. Lo' and behold..WG offered me 5 million silver and that includes reimbursing the equipment I put on it as well. Wooohooo, another slap in the face from WG! 🤣

I have just over 680 million Silver, and tens of thousands of Gold on my account, so I could actually buy all of these tanks. But there's no way in hell that I'm gonna drain my account (which took a long time to accumulate) on tanks like these! 🤨
I was hoping that WG was actually going to give us a bit of a break, and offer some good tanks at a reasonable price. I didn't really believe it, but I was hopeful. 😇

I drained my account hard. I had nearly a billion credits and I have a fair chunk of gold too. What else are you going to spend that silver on? I spent mine in a pinch. Literally nothing else to do with it.

Was playing over 10 yrs since Feb 2014 Got 566 millon silver. Just got the hy rid 120. Such a shame i dont wanna play this game anymore. Not played since new year .

I think the option to do this is fantastic, but the pricing is wrong. 100m silver is way too much. The WW2 tanks should be like half that price and it would still be 5+× the silver cost of a TT tier 10.
The big thing though is gifting. So I could gift my son the 121B for silver and still get both tier 9s for silver. I started with 330m and still have 70m after equipping. Just don't forget to equip and camo them before the sales end.

I had enough silver credits to purchase two of the tanks. But none of them presented any interest to me. I wish I could understand why those tanks were picked. To me, they don't have anything that make them fun to play.

Absurd. The silver buy back cost for a tier X is 9 million silver, not 50 or 100 million. If you're smart, you'll steal granny's cat food money and but the tank at the discount gold price, then use any silver to buy up big on boosters, esp 2x silver. I run 2x on 6 era 3 tanks in CW and can add 1.5 million silver to the bank every day, with just 6 games, easy. Plus the 5x or better tank Xp and commander xp are good to have when the grind loses its shine.
It’s very interesting how the mode that makes the most silver has the two cheapest for silver tanks 🙄🙄 they don’t even try to hide their hatred for WW2 players anymore. Charging us more for tanks like this and constantly adding toxic tanks into WW2 has truly pushed a lot of people away from this game. I still play but only on occasions or enough to finish a season pass when there’s a tank I actually want (very rarely do I want anything other then the tier 10’s when they’re in it)

Look at the bigger picture. If they gave away Tier 9s and 10s for peanuts to people who have never grinded past tier 5 the game would be further damaged as it is when giving away powerful top tier tanks in a 6k season pass.
Its a lot of silver, i agree people shouldve had notice of the pricing but i think its a healthy decision for the game.
