I enjoyed the American heavy line, early tiers were fun and the T29 really helped me learn hull down tactics and the small peepee can work too.
General Public's tank guide for beginners. First, don't go up the tiers too quickly. As Claus stated, the Russian tech tree is the best to cut your milky white teeth on. Get to tier five and get a KV1. It is the best training tank in the game and you will be more likely to get away with making a mistake. The German line is the next best for learning how to handle a tank. Avoid the all others, especially the French line. A lot of players think they can do well in French tanks, but you definitely need skill, a beginner won't have, to play them. Most important of all , when you die in a battle click and follow other players in tanks you are playing, or thinking of playing. You will learn more of what and what not to do by watching others play. I still do it and have learned more about the game in spectator mode than by any other method. It also helps to familiarize yourself with the maps and terrain.
I like the French line, there are some really good tanks as you go.
@@leeedsonetwo I play my BDR every day just because its fun.
@@MedicatedOMO one of my favourites although now reduced.
@@leeedsonetwo Still fun because nobody expects it to be what it is.
It's all about the Russian bias KV-1, KV-1S are both great not to mention the T34-85
Claus speaks the truth. I went down the German light line first and I’m in therapy for it.
my condolences
I decided to go down the german superheavy route, now at tear 9 and in the last little bit before the maus, but honestly at this point i am only continuing just to get the darn thing, i play russian heavy lines too and compared to the German lines they are easy
Good stuff, Clause. The guy in the second game was a side-scraping beast. Always took the time to set up a good shot. Taught me a lot.
I agree mostly with what you said on the 277. He bounced that much because his hull was protected and the turret is very strong and was the only thing exposed. If you are a newer player you have to realize the 277 hull is not that strong against other tier 10s. One of my favorites though due to its speed. That speed can get you in a bad position quuckly though and you will be dead.
It's a great tank but of the tier 10 Soviet heavies the 277 is probably the least beginner friendly Soviet heavy for the reasons you mention. Any of the other Soviet heavies is more beginner friendly esp the IS 4, which has a great gun like the 277 but better armor and is slower so you don't rush into trouble. Well except the ST-II, that sucks all around.
he's the only RUclipsr that doesn't think the casual players are nothing but trash
That's why
I subbed, and patreon
Very good advice in general. However I would like to mention, I rarely 'accidentally' bounce damage. I play on the NA server and everyone (it seems like 95% of players) spams gold ammo, so bounces are somewhat rare....
To be honest I have been playing super casually for 5 years, I have 1 tear 10 (maus)several 9,8,7 ect i tend to find I do best staying at the tears 5-6 I don’t have full crews yet, I feel at 5-6 my enemy’s are more at my level of skill (muppety) 😅 and I feel lower tear players use less gold
How are you now? Are you better ? @@kanehood3478
I think the IS-7 line is really beginner friendly too. It was my first tier X
True, once you learn how to side scrape the IS-3, things start to roll.
I love the 257. If the enemy doesnt think or know where to shoot u. U can survive for a quite long time even when u are outnumbered.
started 8 years ago with the Russian mediums and heavies. Love them. I definitely recommend them for beginners.
Problem is i dont have russia..
Great video thanks. I fell for the historical optics and went German and US lines before knowing/caring about the game factors that really matter. I still don't know what the heck I'm doing but love the game including complaining about parts of it lol. Thanks again for your videos!
Solid advice. Too late for me though, I have the unfortunate habit of picking vehicles based on whether I like their appearance, and for some reason, I tend to like the look of lightly armored, turretless AFVs. So that's how I started out...
The 430U quickly kicked the Leopard PTA off it's throne as my favorite tank. Depending on equipment and crew skills, it can be extremely stealthy and snipe from medium range, or get up close and lock horns with the heavies.
Great choices Claus and always a bonus to try to stay alive longer even by accident
When advising new players it's worth remembering something. I've had to go back and buy a tank so many times to get a new tank. Advice I've given a few friends is to just research every line on each line just in case, elite everything! As you gain experience you might want to try something else.
As a beginner, back 10 years ago, I went to IS 7, which I still think can be an option nowadays. Then I got the IS 4, also a viable option nowadays. The 3rd line, surprise!, it was the Grille (actually it should've been Waff, but when I researched it, they removed it 🤣🤣).
The 277 is not a forgiving tank if you are a beginner. 430 U, yes, it can work for anyone though.
In my case someone told me to go for Russian heavies and mediums. I am still at t8 and 9 and I can tell you I got shredded in my kv85 and IS. They told me this tank has amor but I never felt that. I had the feeling I was matched against players who knew how to use these popular tanks. With my stock crews it was a slow paced unfun experience. Maybe the is7 is better but I have to face all the players who maxed out their tanks and have played this tank a lot more while I join a new tier and trying to not die within 2 shots and searching for weak points of tanks I never played. Wot is a harsh game for new players. I changed my winrate from 47 to 52 and still think I am one of the worse players in my team. I can't remember caliber and DPM and stuff like that which the unicums always kind of know. Tbh I learned the most im arty about map positions while in hawk mode. I see where to hide and I have enough time to learn the positions because I didn't die after 4 mins
M3 Lee taught me to play fixed turret TD's! I'd pretty much given up at the Stug, I just couldn't get on with it! Having to grind through the Lee, I actually got good with it and it gave me the skills for trying TD's again.
If I were starting over again I wouldn't even bother going beyond tier VII or VIII. I ground out an E100 and I still can't be bothered to play it because tier IX and X are so expensive to play and everyone is spamming gold that it just isn't fun. The people who don't have premium accounts and aren't using gold ammo / boosters are basically just targets. Same for VII and VIII too to an extent but you can usually be okay especially if you buy a premium tank or one with bonds and can earn some credits. I'd also avail of things like Christmas events to get some free crew and slots just to help diversify a bit.
To me the Italian Medium line was far more user-friendly than the Russian Medium or Heavy line. I started it and finnished it in a few weeks and was pleasant, the Russian lines I started them around 2013 (because people told me I should do it) and I still didn't bothered to finnish them. Heavies? Not really my cup of tea (although if it was my cup of tea, that would most likely be the way to be). Mediums without gun depression on this meta/maps? Hell with them.
People should just try a few lines/nations up to Tier V and see what fits them. People always say: "You are a begginer? Play heavies!" - then they stay at the base camping behind the TDs with the heavy tanks because they like to snipe and don't like to brawl. Just try a few lines (mainly Heavy and Medium and TDs) up to Tier V and see what fits you.
Thanks Claus. How about the best tanks for beginners to learn 1) turretless TDs, 2) hull down ridgeline tanks, 3) LT spotting, 4) SPG?
1)Less hp than heavies and mediums and need camo and map knowledge 2)Sometimes the battlefield is flat, map knowledge needed, but can be fun. 3) Spotting and not shooting needs nerves of steel 4) Easy, but might be boring.
I personally think the vz 55 is the best heavy line for newer players. I agree with the obj 430u for mediums. American TDs are always fun for new players as well.
absolutely agree about American TDs
@@davidmarkham9027 But you must know: Turret TD´s are second line support tanks. Turretless better 3rd line and only going forward when all fast tanks of enemy team are back in garage. But i fully agree with beginner friendly cause they teach you gamemechanics which are adoptable to all tanks.
t25/2 is kinda garbage imo but hey the rest of them are good.
@@BooperSchmooper but they can easily make it better
1. Higher rate of fire / the 105mm.
Or
2.more mobility
in the American line you get 2 beauties, the T29 and the T32. Also even though they are not very competitive, the Maus and the E100 are both very beginner friendly because all you need to do is sidescrape and they just have good overall armour.
have you played the mid tier americans lately? after the buff for T1, M6, T32,.. the world has changed a bit. worse, the T29 got nerfed, so you may update your experience. for the german heavies, i think Claus is right in not advice it for first grind. even in the mid tiers one needs knowledge how to use the armor to have the battles you want. fail the armor and the only reward from the vehicles is pain, even the good guns will not help you.
Love the American lines but at tier 9 and 10 it seems like they’re behind the times, the medium tier 9 medium gun is equivalent to the tier 7 French heavy, same pen on gold
@@edelmann4388 True, you make a good point. I am aware of the t29 nerf, I called it a great tank because of the alpha, and good mobility combined with a turret some tier 9's cannot pen unless they have high pen heat rounds. Also the mid tier German heavies are quite bad. The only one I want to play is the vk36.01h because it is fast and has a very nice gun. Otherwise it is also meh. I meant that the e75, e100, mauschen, and maus are quite easy to play because you only need to sidescrape and be careful about exposing your turret front
113 was my first tier 10 tank. I was super happy to get it. I still really like the tank I play it every now and then.
The British and American turreted TD lines aren't too bad for newer players. You just have to learn quickly how to use concealment properly as they don't have much armor. A completely new player may not enjoy them, but after playing the game long enough to get a feel for the spotting mechanics, they are fine.
The problem with TDs is not their armor - it's their HP. They don't have HP, heavies get the most HP, medium tanks a little less, then TDs, then lights/arties. TDs even with lots of armor, don't have much HP and get shredded with gold ammo and don't live long. So, a faster TD with a good camo sometimes better than armored slow TD.
Great video buddy I remember when I bounced 3 rounds in a game with my Leopard 1 out of 500 plus games, never to be repeated I bet. Have a great weekend
Thank you, Claus. I love your videoes. I am 58, from Norway.
My first tier 10 (and only so far, I started last year) was Grille. I can say grind was very very smooth. Many very nice vehicles, especially Borsig of course and WTFPSZT IV.
Love my 430u and 8 years ago my first line was American medium and enjoyed every tank and British TD I think is a solid pick to start even though they're turret less but good armor.
I grounded the 430U line but the gun was a big turnoff after grinding the leopard 1 line. Maybe time to go back and give it a whirl, congratulations on making it work
Yeah pre-he nerf derps like m4 or pz4h were fun. Old at2 as well, if you were able to hide the cupola, often there was literally nothing the enemy could do
I went IS-7 once upon a time. Also a nice tank for new players. Bit less mobility, but legendary armor. My first tier 10 was the E 100 almost a decade ago :)
Like you I started on the Germany line, ground to the E75, I hate playing it, didn't spend enough time in the lower tiers.
I thought your commentary was spot on, maybe I'll take your advice and try again.
Add, it is also a pain, having bad matching and the clear bias against most US tanks. But it makes me work harder.
If you're a noob like me please don't grind the heavy tank line. For example at tier 7, 90 percent of my battles were against tier 8s, don't know why and at that level you still get penned by a lot of tanks, low mobility and slow ammo speed. I had my best time working on the Russian td line.
Mi first light line was manticore, and that was very useful for me, because i was forced to learn spotting/bush mechanism and how to be patient and not to shoot my gun.
1:02 I started the game back in late of 2011, and I went down the light tank line. People usually suck when they go down that tech tree anyways! I sucked until I got my Chaffee on its first reiteration when it was no longer like a tier 6. I still have the racing crew from the other one, and it still works wonders. ELC AMX you better watch out for this tank, coz it can run you over!
Mcfriermen
I think the hard part is remembering not to fall into the trap of thinking tanks that were once good, still are.
LOTS OF MAGIC and RNG in the last battle! I loved the snapshot between / through the dead tank turrets. These videos did show what is missing in all the replays. The crew skills. I wish they did show the load-outs and the crew skills. The replay videos do not show these so you just thin that you can do this too. NOPE a 2 skill crew has no hope redoing what a 5 skill crew just did with a bond load-out
Hey Claus,
as a "WoT veteran" I'd think I've got to comment on your proposals ;)
First of all you picked two tanks, although one on the paper is a heavy and the other one a medium, which are quiet similar. Both with 340 heat pen and similar gun handling and decent armor. While the 430U has a bit higher DPM it lacks - suprise - a bit of mobility compared to its heavy counterpart 277. Nevertheless, playstyle is more or less identical.
I remember from the past that one of the main issues for WoT-rookies is a lack of gun depression (place a "china tanks warning!" here ;)). New players wil quiet often struggle with the 5.5° and 5.0° we got here with 277 and 430U.
In terms of "forgivingness" I would highly recommend IS-7. It lacks a bit of penetration with premium ammo as it comes with APCR (303 pen) but it has decent gun handling. Further APCR instead of HEAT also has the advantage that you do not have to struggle with tracks, spaced armor and some obsticles standing around. I could even throw in the (Super) Conq here, as a well balanced (kind of slowish) heavy.
For the mediums, again based on gun depression, I would recommend tanks like E50M or even the Patton. Some armor and great gun handling with fantastic view range.
In general my advice for new players is:
- Your tank shouldn't be made out of paper (like Claus said: don't start with e.g. the Leopard)
- go for a tank with good gun handling and gun depression (and doublecheck gun elevation ;))
- start with slower tanks (e.g. Super Conq on the heavy side)
- go for (real) autoloaders like batchat and TVP later in your "career" (probably use auto re-loaders like italian mediums first)
And finally: Enjoy!
Zeke
All very good advice. The only difference between what you're saying and what the video was actually about is that you're talking about specific tanks. While Claus showcased only two tank games (The tier 10s of two complete lines), he was talking about the *entire line* being user-friendly. Quite the opposite of what you've suggested.
For a casual player, I'd stick with Claus' advice to give them. For a player that just wants great tanks and doesn't mind the painful grind to get them, then your advice is what I'd suggest they do. You're not wrong at all, just missed a bit of the nuance of what Claus was trying to convey. The grind is what kills the fun for casual players.
In the grand scheme of things, if new players stuck to what Claus is saying, I think we'd have more enjoyable games overall for everyone. Even for those of us that are experienced by way of having teammates that might live longer than 2 minutes per battle. ;)
GLHF!
@@Theorica Although I did not explicitly mention it, I still had the grind in mind. From the tanks I highlighted, the only grind that might be a bit painfull is tier 6 and 7 of the S- Conq line. IS-7 is up to tier 8 the same as 277 where the tier 9 of IS-7-line (Obj 257) is exactly the "randomly bouncing machine" Claus was talking about...
When I started, I decided to go get all US tanks... Oh boy, what a mistak-a to make-a! 12 years later, they are all unlocked, but there are so many paper tanks that make that grind so painful.
Hi Klaus. Good advice, thanks. I think for me, beginners for the most part should not try and progress to high tiers too soon. It takes time to train crews, skills etc. Especially now that there is extra levels to obtain with additional experience. Also, if you want to have fun playing, mid and even some low tier games are much more fun.
I made the absolute horrible choice of starting right away with the entire french line pre-EBR.. got almost everything before giving up
100% agree. I quit for several years, had IS7 and E100. Came back, a couple of months ago and learned my tanks are all old! Sold my tier !0's, re-purchased IS3 and put old IS7 crew in it, shuffled high end crews around with the credits from selling Tier10s. My formula is play the IS3, then I play another tank. Then back to IS3. This is to make credits to purchase the other Russian heavies, and meds. Ive found I have more fun casually playing. I'll dabble in the LTs I have and the meds. I somehow got suckered into a T44 russian tier 8....it's not fun....So I'm back tracking. You speak nothing but truths Claus. And....there is no baby in this bag.....
Hi Claus, i joined your Channel today. Keep on going man, greetz from the Netherlands...
thx for this great video.. for me .. a beginner still (1.5 years, 2.5k battles, max tier 8 now with some lines)
from my experience so far, each line has it's weak points and it's sweet spots, some more, some less easy to see.
the russian medium line T-34 to Obj430U looks good so i am just to start T-43 which is said to be the weak spot. the russian heavies to Obj277 the KV-1S at tier 6... omg, play it like a medium to get through... so i hope it starts getting better.
Cheers Claus - very informative! And those two matches! Those players were on fire!
i not only started with light tanks, i started with german light tanks back when the RU 251 was a tier 8
I am on Console, PS5, 144hz monitor. And the game graphics are nice, but seeing this on PC, is magnificent!!!
Thanks for the video and insight.
I have played mobile Wot Blitz for over 7 years now, and although the two games have some similarities. World of tanks is far better.
Have a great day/night. I subscribed.
and this is why Claus is the best. Great work
Couldn't wait to get the 430U. Can't do anything with it. Thing I must have the mock up model made out of paper with an elastic band gun.
yeahh... I went for the t57 right off the bat... hated it so much. the M7 and T69 were nice to get away from the lights but... yeah it was brutal
Yes it was badass at first but got passed pretty quickly. I did have an 8 kill game! They rolled up one by one and I reloaded perfectly.
It's nice to have this information for begineers now but ten years ago the game was very different and I just went with the one that looked cool.
Just for your information people, Quickfinger, aka: Quackababy have also watched this particiluar replay as well. Cuz i do remember when the 277 players asked for 10k damage.
Thanks Claus.
Best recommendation for beginners is buy a T8 premium tank and go... NOT!
I think best for most new players is to grind slowly and train your crew well. And If you find a tank that works well for you, play it regardless its tier.
Higher tier often means less fun.
Cheers.
Spot on mate!
True That! but don't underestimate the lower tiers today when you talk on competition. there are so much experienced players down there, for various reasons, there is no soft learning to play the game. new players like myself (about 2.5k battles in 1.5 years) go slow in tech tree, but don't hesitate to have a premium after some times... only... what Claus said in the video on the tanks applies to premiums to. get a tier 8 Progetto M46 and fail because of autoloader and no armor. think on tier 8 Obj274a or 122TM, not the best in every point (gunhandling and dpm) but armor to stay alive longer .. and good ap pen so no need to spam full gold like in T-54mod1 or T-44/100.
I found i was able to grind the Grille really quick. There was some good TDs along the way and playing the sniper from bushes might be beginner friendly.
You mentioned the Standard B... it is absolutely my favourite tank right now over the other leopards as well...
Super awesome Claus.I recon the advice is spot on...
I would say, IS 7 instead of Obj.277 - stronger at tier 9.
Grind to VZ 55 is also an ok experience (excepting the coffin shape turrets on the line).
Obj 430 U is good for medium line.
Also the line for E 50M was nice for me.
Ob 268-4 for TDs - strong from tier 7.
The russian tech lines also have a number of equipment used on several vehicles - researching one gun or radio for example, will make it available for another tank line.
My list would be: russian, german, british, american and then the rest.
Ran, to Sheridan first, and Astron Rex. Yes it was hard and my WN8 is not great. But marked a couple and now going Medium/ Heavy. Basically the opposite of what you recommend. This in less than 3 months. 😂😂 😂😂😂
Did you know that Team Raptor Boos your account is advertising on your channel.
Is there coffee made? Did Claus make a new video today? Okay, I'll get up. Even people that play a lot still need some reminders of the basic beginner stuff. I know it doesn't hurt my playing at all and I really like the recommended Russian tanks. Thanks!
Just to add a bit about Russian tanks: The guns can be tricky and you might find yourself having to shoot gold to increase pen and shell velocity.
That grille at the end and his unfinished search for a cupola lmao O_o
Turretless TDs are not that hard, BUT you need to understand what the 'X' key is for.
To help line up on the target, the driver of a turretless AFV will chase the cursor; UNLESS, you press 'X'. Pressing 'X' stops the driver from chasing the cursor and the parking brake symbol "(!)" lights up to let you know that the driver will not chase the cursor. If you do not want to negate your binoculars and camo net, you must press 'X', when you arrive at your firing position.
When you want to engage a target, press 'X' to let your driver put the reticle on the cursor (if the target is outside the traverse of your gun and not moving into it), switch to the gunners' view (which always stops the driver from chasing the cursor [why the "(!)" always appears in gunners' view), line up your shot and engage the target. If you have only limited traverse, you will need to zoom out to keep your target in view, if it is moving.
It is a shame that you are left to figure out for yourself what the 'X' key is for, as turretless AFVs do need their own tutorial. Timely use of the 'X' key will greatly improve your success with turretless AFVs.
The tier IV and tier VI French TDs are the worst for limited traverse. The French tier V turretless TD, with its very flexible traverse and incredible stock gun, a 17-pdr, makes the tier VI French TD seem much worse than it actually is; although, it is not very good to begin with.
If anyone reads this far, I need advice on how to get back in the game, as every time I try to return to the game, I suck so badly that it is another four to eight weeks before I can bring myself to enter another battle.
"Poof, you're gone!" That's me in a lot of tanks!
I don't know how the grind is anymore, but a few years ago when the Russian 268 TD was relevant WAY before the 268-V4, that was a VERY easy line especially from T-8 to T-10, because back then the ISU-152 had the BL-10 gun and absolutely dominated even if you were bottom tier, it was a monster BUT the next two TD's you got, the T-9 had the BL-10 Stock, and the 268 I think had it also, but not sure
Good video, Claus. I liked this one especially. Useful info on a couple of good tanks to grind.
I think when I finally get the time to put some meaningful effort into this game my first line to grind will be the French TD line!
@@unityofvitality-5875 I wasn't being serious, don't worry about it.
Cool video. I like your speaking presentation. Fun to listen to.
I've been browsing youtube videos today looking for tips. In terms of how long I've had an account, I'm not a beginner. But in terms of my actual skill level, yeah I'm a beginner. haha
I played the game back in 2013 and stopped around 2015. I only re-downloaded the game yesterday after all those years. A lot has changed. A lot hasn't.
Most of the tanks in my garage are the slower bulky heavy tanks sadly. Given a choice, I think I would prefer a good all around medium, or at least a heavy that functions like a medium. The Obj 277 there does look like something I should get. I have the Chinese WZ-111 5a or whatever the main heavy Tier X is. It's been a while, forgive me. I have the E100 and the Super Conq for my other tier Xs so far.
Right now though, the problem I'm struggling with isn't so much the tank I play, so much as it is how to leverage the maps. Every single game starts with me going to the designated heavy tank area, reaching the middle point of that area, and waiting in a stalemate for the other team to rush out foolishly. No joke, every game goes the same- I reach the middle of the lane section, do my best to position myself in a proper side scraping angle, and wait for the enemy to poke out. One of 2 things happens now. Either I lose my trades because my angle is never correct (or they loaded gold rounds), or both of us sit here for 5 minutes waiting for the other player to make a mistake.
Many games I'll feel too crowded by my own allies and can't even get into a proper position. I either crowd them hoping for a shot, or I sit back and just wait with my thumb up my butt.
Trying to go off on my own in a heavy tank is bad idea. Not enough mobility to get out of trouble, not enough vision to avoid it. No.
Gameplay like shown in your video here make everything look easy. And to a good player, I suppose it is. I just want to understand what mindset I need to learn and how to actually make an impact regardless of my team. I'm tired of sitting back waiting for things to happen. I'm tired of not being able to block shots even when I'm side scraping. I'm tired of stale mates.
User friendly line: Anything Soviet...lol, magic Russian armor is unbeatable.
Nice Intro commercial! Hoodies... lol. Yes crew IS CURCIAL!!! The Obj. 277 is a freaking beast Claus!! And it wasn't the first tank I went after. It was the E-100. What was yours???
This was the exact video I needed. Thank you!
I wish I knew this before grinding down the panther line......
Loved the advice. Am grinding T60 now.
Oh yeah, I've got a Manticore and it, plus the whole line is really challenging to play.
British medium is player friendly and he Matilda is a blast and the cromwell will teach you basic light skills with it's speed and camouflage
just getting to the Tier 9 430 after 13 years.. I avoided Russian mediums for years....only drawback is gun depression, but it is easy to do well in it if you don't forget about the gun depression
Great videos - great advice - loved it - I am on my T10 Russian before the 277
Would actually recommend the polish Heavy line over the Russian. The lack of gun depression is a real disadvantage for a beginner. The 430U though has so many advantages for a new player that its worth the semi terrible gun.
I'd say learning LT gameplay is the best it's ever been in WoT nowadays with free sixth sense. as long as you don't see t8 LT's where they have commanders vision and you don't as a lowly t6 then you're probably going to do well enough. The worst thing is playing a t6-7 LT when there's t8 even 90's on the enemy team just passive spotting in a tiny bush.
i think gun depression for new players is much more important than mentioned. Maybe not when you're so new all you do is W until you die...
I really enjoyed the 60tp line, right from tier 4 and up
My dumb-ass started American heavy, then American td, then a bunch of random shit to teir 6.
Now I'm grinding the Czech autoloader like a muppet and having mixed results.
Honestly, the hellcat like 7 years ago with nets and binocs was the most fun I've ever had in this game.
appreciate the advice and enthusiasm!
Thanks, Claus great advice!
I liked the American line, no unicum by any means. Got right up to the 110E5, but now enjoying the M103. Hard to make good credits though.
Can't help it but love the USA light line. But you are about the 277. I will aim for that line.
New people should go down the version 4 line too. They’re all amazing vehicles especially the tier 7
Only problem with russian medium line is if they get hit in the hull they burn or ammo rack blow up
Really helps that nearly all Russian lines have fun, user-friendly tanks nearly all the way up the line. Like the T-43 is tier for tier probably the worst tank in the 430U line and at worst it's just kind of frustrating and mediocre. I see a lot of guys in Churchills in the mid-tiers who'd trade a kidney for a tank that's merely mediocre
Great video,, very well done,, i saw the beginning and thougt of the "best heavy" in the game,, the mightiy 430U, and there it was.
Sorry to say it, but I really think that 277 in the first game is using some sort of aimbot. The way the reticle is jumping around and then lock on to a weak spot does not look natural.
The aiming in 430U gameplay was much more fluent and natural.
most honest, no bullshit WoT youtuber ever!
oh boy Clause you point it like you have discovered the wheel. You repeat what you heared from others and sell it like yours. There was a time you was the normal smog guy, i miss this Claus more then the one who shows knowledge that 99% already have and tell it like you are a unikum. You are not...but i like you maybe because of that. I wish you a fantastic day
Excelent vid Klaus. Thank you Santa.
Ave Claus. First thing firts: "bless you" becouse of the sneesing. 😁 Hope you just have a cold and not the other thing... When i started to play WoT, many moons ago, i started off with the German line and had many wonderfull hours of gameplay. After a break (7years or so) i have returned to the German line. I stil like that line, altho many tanks are Nerfd. Favorid(?) way of playing is by tier. I am now on tier 5 and 6 with my tanks. That way i got a licht, medium, td a d ky beloved Arty's to choose from. When im in the mood to hunt: TD, when i want to drive around: light and medium. When i want to release hell from above (and eat my diner 😀): Arty... Personaly i like the variant of tanks that i have this way and stil enjoy playing them.
Best advice i can give to beginners: just have fun... Try to do your part in a game, try to do it well and have fun doing it!
Hope you feel better soon...😁👍
Even though I'm a Brit I actually think the US heavy line (through the T29) is an ok like to play. Doesn't breast the Russian line of course, but is not a bad line ..
Czech Heavy line would be a great user friendly line.
You will just block way more damage in a Russian tank. Gun accuracy though will depend on how much WG loves you.
I made a lot of the mistakes Claus mentions. I played through some early tank tiers (3&4) with 50% crew and wondered why I was missing my shots.
In this game you can have 500%+ Crews and still miss 80% of your shots for a good period of time. Why? Cause its fully rigged grindgame designed to squeeze the last cent out of its playerbase.
277 and good gunhandling? Wait a minute! Claus what are you smokeing today?
Exciting vids. Claus.
