Glad y'all are finding some of the epic cliff side trails and campsites in the Southwest. They are pretty much second to none and never get boring. Hope the gems keep popping during your trip over here and make it unforgettable.
If it's going to be pink, add some sparkles. Pearlescent pink.
And perhaps for you build back in Oz, try a Hummer H3 and make it 'touring'
Camp fire foil roasting is the way to go. Take steak, potatos, carrots, and butter, wrap them in aluminum/tin foil, then throw that in the base of the campfire. Delicious.
Epic scenery. Keep the great shots coming and for the love of all that is holy, someone get Bakes and Navs some decent jerky. By my count, that is 0 for 2 on the beef jerky attempts. 🤣😂

This is so cool. I love watching all those videos of the guys over in Australia and think, "Man, maybe one day." but I always wondered what folks like that would think of the USA. Especially when our tracks are not as long...or there's more towns along the way.
but seeing you all experience those areas for the first time reminds me that I need to appreciate what I have that's soo much closer to me.
Your country is special. I get it, we take our own countries for granted till someone posts an epic video and blows us away. We have to drive long distances to see things. There are signs here in Australia stating how far the next fuel station is.

Australia has a canyon larger than the "Grand Canyon" it's called The Capertee Valley situated in NSW.. Enjoy the Grand Canyon - then come home and see something bigger! In your words the mountains are epic! Glad you're enjoying your trip in the States - just keep it factual.

To travel soft ground the big diesels work better with a 40-42" tire to have enough volume to go to single digit air pressure on blow sand
