Can I do this with long nails on my right hand? I play guitar without a pick and for me long nails are essential. I can execute the movement and the "rhythm" of the fingers of the right hand, the problem is that with long nails I can't give that "percussive" or "slap" effect. When I do it sounds like the sound of a train derailing. Let me know if the problem is my nails or if I'm not yet able to use this technique.
