It may not be music all past 1D fans are accustomed to, but I’m thrilled to hear his lyrics & own music style! He’s given 1D enough days/yrs/tours/records, one right after another. Their management didn’t care enough to help him deal w/1D’s constant work load & stress. He wasn’t the only member asking for a break either. But nobody listened & look what happened. Those boys were cash cows for their managers. Hope Z (& all the members) can find happiness. Life’s too short to be so unhappy. Hopefully Z will find joy in doing music again, cause he’s beyond talented! If he keeps offering new music publicly or even attempts to market it will be up to him; but I love his solo work. He’s earned my respect for being able to say, “enough is enough” & step away. Not many could do what he did & Z obviously knew his breaking point was close.
