- Did Donald Trump really ignore Bill and Hillary Clinton at George Bush's recent Funeral? Did he also snub Barack and Michelle Obama and the Carters?

It appeared as if the funeral proceedings were actually about to begin when the Trumps entered the church, so it may have been difficult for Trump to greet each of the former presidents and their first ladies, without being somewhat disruptive to the solemn atmosphere.
Also, he was seated at the very end of the row, so only had easy access to the Obamas to reach out a handshake.
Did he have other options he could have employed to acknowledge those other couples? Yes. He could have just walked quickly down the open row in front of those people, and offered his regards to each individually before returning to his seat.
Or he possibly might have stood and waved discreetly toward the other two couples who he could not reach to offer his respects.
While this episode may have been a missed opportunity for Trump to recognize those other presidents, there is not a lot of evidence that his behavior was an obvious or deliberate show of rudeness or even discourtesy.

WRONG.The sitting President is the President of ALL Americans. It was Trump duty to acknowledge every former president a few feets from him.
Trump painted himself in a corner having burned the bridge with the Clintons and the Bushes.That created a situation where it was awkward for him to shake hands with them.He showed up just because he didn't have any valid excuse to skip the funeral.

I heard in a recent breakdown of this event that the notes said "We have it all", referring to the claim that the Whitehats are now in control of the NSA, meaning ALL texts, Calls and Internet Communications have been kept and stored. The shock was apparently so great that Jeb Bush had to go to the bathroom to throw up.

I noticed that Melania reached out to Bill and he shook her hand before she sat down. Hillary just shook her head and never attempted to reach for a handshake. Also Bill looked nervously at Donald to see what he would do (my opinion) but he never initiated a handshake either. Also Carter gave a wave. I have always considered the source when someone makes a derogatory comment or snubs. To me, this is the best way to not take offence.

Let's not forget that he didn't greet the Bushes on the other side of the aisle. He could have made a spectacle, but chose to keep it close and tight.

He did not need to shake hands, but he should have respectfully acknowledged former Presidents Carter and Clinton with a small wave, or a nod. Melania handled the situation perfectly…

It's not uncommon for people to laugh and enjoy each other at a funeral, especially if the death was more expect (ie. an elderly person).
Usually if it's close friends & family members, no, but if your going cause that's the right thing to do because of your position then it's okay. If I was going to my mom's funeral I wouldn't be smiling or joking around😒, but if I was going my boss's funeral I probably would😆.

No one wants to be embarrassed or even humiliated by being inappropriate for any reason. It is absolutely important to understand the situation one is in so that an appropriate response can be given without embarrassing yourself or others. Heads of state cannot always choose to act the way they may want to when you have an expected responsibility that is more important because the rest of the world is looking on. In the not so distant past, people learned how to behave in social situations by mostly learned examples. I am talking about the social engagements that were used to teach young people how to be that way. Let me just say, before I put anything else down, that the examples I have do come from decades earlier, but not that far back for us older people. When I was a younger person, I belonged to organized groups, like Girl Scouts and the 4H Clubs of America, and there are others, but we learned about how to be social and interact with people of all ages and walks of life. Also, in high school, we had Civic classes that dealt with a wealth of information about how the government and its agencies worked. We learned how to properly address heads of states and other officials. We had to read The Congressional Record each week and actually discuss politics, the parties, and give comments and even write letters to Congress. We learned about “debating” and I signed up to a debating club, which took us to different schools in different states and we had to learn how to publicly debate. That taught me a lot and especially helped me to be able to speak to large groups of people, especially the attending officials and how to address them when they spoke to us. Everything seemed geared back then to try and provide the broadest instruction on how to interact properly with other people of many affiliations. Even understanding what religious background someone came from could offer ideas for verbal and physical “appropriateness”. It was inherent in every part of our daily life. Today a person can look up things on the internet, but with regards to the focus of your statements here, they can’t “show” you how to do the things you are speaking about. I sincerely hope I was able to just share a little light.

You say everyone was already quietly sitting and that's why you believe, It appeared as if the funeral proceedings were actually about to begin when the Trumps entered the church, not so. I saw no indication of that. The orchestra was still playing. If it was about to start the conductor would've stop the music. In viewing of other videos of Trump's entrance, it took them from the time they started down the aisle, a little over a min. to get to their seats. Then they sat there for another 2 min. with the music still playing [so there was no hurry to start the ceremony] after shaking hands with the Obama's. They wouldn't have been disruptive, with giving a simple polite nod and a wave. And when Trump finished shaking Michelle's hand, both Trump and Bill Clinton, just for a slight moment were looking at each other, be only for 1/2 second. And when Trump turned away Clinton lip stiffened as if he had been snubbed and he turned away also. The 2 people that showed their vitriol was Donald and Hillary. Both sat stone faced. Trump is always having missed opportunities to act like a decent human being. Trump's failure to be courteous in a tense situation is the evidence, that his behavior was an obvious or deliberate show of rudeness and discourtesy.
He actually did the proper response and reply at a funeral.

Baron, I am a member of the Cathedral congregation and a volunteer also. The entrance that the President used would not have been the main aisle. He came down a north aisle and yes they had to come in front of the pew where all the Presidents sat. Which means he did pass in front of the whole pew to get to his seat. It simply was not shown on camera. Go to Cathedral.org and there is a copy of the funeral--you might get more insights there. Once seated, it was correct that he should not have reached down beyond the Obamas to get to the Clintons and the Carters. I am sure he interfaced with them all after the service however, although I know he Secret Service is always in a great hurry to get all high profile people out of the Cathedral once the event is over.
I think Our President and the first Lady acted very proper, with quiet dignaty at a solemn occasion. These people were behaving as if they were at some sort of convention. As for greeting people in your pew. A hand shake is not required of anyone. A simple nod and a smile, or a wave, is sufficient. If one wants to shake hands, one shakes the hands of those comfortably within reach. In other words, one doesn't strain to reach others to shake as many hands as possible. One doesn't stand and attempt to make ones way through the pew to greet others (that is an excellent way to step on someone's feet, kick an ankle, or trip). And, one does not get up and walk to the other end of the pew to greet people. A nod, a wave, a smile, is all that is needed. A funeral is a solemn occasion. All of this handshaking is nonsense and unnecessary given the circumstances.
