Really like the precious metal videos with the Nomad. Would love to see more project with the machine especially the fine detail aspect with Nomad on precious metal like silver. Thank you 🙏❤️
Winston, as always your advice and video is awesome. Unfortunately as always, you talk fast and put the feeds n speeds up for a split second. For the love of God, please put this info in the comments for easy reference!

Get your machine to XYZ zero, bring the Z up .025in and zero that. adjust that in your depth of cut in Carbide create. That way the .025 can ensure you dont plunge in and snap a bit if it unlevel on the bed. Its a extra step to save a bit.
1. I need those zelda charms!! I saw them! ;-) and 2. I thank you so much for this. I am looking at a CNC machine to do my jewelry components. I've read every book I could understand and narrowed it down to the information I need. This video, as well as the other one, gave me the final pieces. Thank you so much. Is there a forum or FB group you have for guidance or additional assistance?
Hi, I am new to Nomad 3. I want to create a name necklaces in silver but wondering if you have all these step in document from a to z how you made? Ive tried to follow your video but it’s so fast to understand. Thank you 😅

Really intrested in your channel. I am definitely Without skill or knowledge but have ambition. How much would it be to get start it with one of these? Is the learning curve high?
Hi how are you I would like to know where are you located because I have A bracelet That can be only made by the CNC machine please let me know where are you located and if I could pay you to do the bracelet
The spindle on the Nomad is higher precision, so your only limitation is that you can't really use tools much smaller than 1/32". The small, but measurable runout of a router will severely shorten the life of tiny endmills needed for this level of detail. As long as you're cutting simple things without as many tiny features (ex. dogtag or charm) the Shapeoko should do fine.
Frank, this is cut on one of our legacy NOMAD machines. Today's machine is the NOMAD 3. An excellent, fully assembled, desktop CNC. We use our machines daily and the Nomad never disappoints. shop.carbide3d.com/products/nomad-3?variant=32912906354749

I can't for the life of me find this wax stuff you are using for adhesive. Can you give me a clue what it's official brand name is? I'm in the UK which means we don't have things that are generally available in the US from a normal store so it will likely need to come from Amazon or eBay.

Steel/stainless steel is at the extreme limits of what's possible, but yes. We have a video on that: ruclips.net/video/Ta_KiG_5etU/видео.html

Do you know what kind of adhesive it is? As it is called?
Where can I buy the silver?
We work with Rio Grande, but there are a number of jewelry supply stores you can buy from online.
@@carbide3d thank you.
Couldn't you just melt the wax off after machining?
It's not going to just roll off the metal like water off a teflon surface. Traces of wax will still remain.
I'm interested in an online consultation with you.
How can I reach you?
👍👍
