These guys are in for a treat with Beyonce, but I am dying to see their reactions to Self titled….especially Rocket & Partition 🤣 but I’m happy that the journey to live performances is underway, she truly is the greatest performer of our time…maybe ever 🐝
@@ainahrzk7850 even listening to emotions transported me back through time, playing sims on my computer and listening to her music, destiny’s child, Kelly Rowland, Solange, Michelle, Jay Z. I Stan the entire circle.
During her first album the group was on hiatus. All 3 put out solo music. Kelly had a number one with Nelly during this time as well. They got back together for one more final album after about a year. Funny you said the writing was on the wall as that’s a Destiny’s Child album title!
Let's put it this way (and let me solve this riddle): THERE IS A BEYONCÉ song for every moment, every feeling/mood - her discography is the literal spectrum.
Iconic. When you think about early 2000s experimental sensuality in a bottle. It’s a song like Naughty Girl and her other #1 hit Baby Boy. It fuses slow R&B with rhythmic pop, and an Arabian aesthetic that shows how Beyoncé is a student of history and at this time of her career had an obsession with the sensuality of Arabic sounds and how she could incorporate the instrumentation both into the production as well as her vocal runs.
Thank god you guys are waiting for the Coachella performance!! I don’t know why people was suggesting that performance so early in the journey 😆. Coachella is like the grand finale so it should be last. I’m looking forward to your reaction to the award show , festivals and her growth as a performer and vocalist.
I just want to say thank you for listening to us about going to Coachella too fast I think you guys will appreciate it so much more after getting to know her better. Btw I know you guys are doing the road to Glastonbury, I looked up the Full performance on YT and it’s missing Sex on Fire/ The Beautiful Ones for some odd reason so just a heads up if that’s the one you are reacting to you have to add that separately unless someone sends you a link from the Beyhive! I know there’s a reactor that I watch where someone sent a website that has all of her performances on it if I get a hold of it I will send it to you guys I think it will make it a lot easier. That way you don’t get rude comments for choosing the wrong video.
the “Badassyonce” website on google. I can’t send the link here. But yea it can be searched on google and all the performances are there in the website
the way you guys do a deep dive reaction, doing the songs/videos then the live performances, probably the best way to understand an artist. Best reaction channel!
Yes, it totally makes sense to first experience studio versions of the songs before seeing it live and I encourage that❤ also, I recommend starting this journey taking into account the chronological order of the releases, mainly because it very interesting to see the evolution of her as an artist as well as a human. As she progressed, the messages behind her music matured as well, and the production was better and better with each album
I'm following along with your journey, and it's fun because it's major nostalgia for me. I was 13/14 when this came out :) I also forgot Usher was in this omgggg. The Nostalgia
I love how you guys listen to the comments. Stevie wonder tribute can be listened to independently if anything it just show you her performance brilliance.
Ok, so she was in Destiny's child, they just had a haitus while each girl pursued a solo career. Kelly Rowland actually released a very successful album and smash hit with Nelly called Dilemma. Beyonce dropped her album a year after and had 4-5 hits blowing up her solo career. They reunited for a final album in 2004-2005 called Fufilled and they went on a final tour.
She did this album between their 3rd and 4th albums. They never broke up after they just wanted to be solo but they consider themselves still part of the group even if they're not releasing music. They did little reunions throughout the years, the superbowl, a Beyonce music video, a Michelle music video and collaboration, & a 2nd greatest hits album with a new song.
You gotta get into Kelly Rowland Solo songs but can you guys do avant separate remix which features Kelly Rowland the song was released in 2000 she was the second destiny's Child member to release a debut album call simply deep in 2002 it was originally supposed to be released in 2003 but was pushed to 2002 while she was filming The movie Freddy VS Jason in Canada But the Album was Released in November of 2002 due to the success of Dilemma by Nelly featuring Kelly Rowland
Destiny Child was suppose to do solo albums then come back together. Solo then come back. Michelle released her first. Then Kelly. Then Beyonce… but Beyonce one took off and they never came back together because Beyonce took off…
You guys are in for a ride when it comes to beyonce. Can’t wait to see the Coachella reaction

The guy who looks familiar, that's Usher.
Great reaction!!

Just wait until you guys watch the music video to 'Partition' 🤭
Early on Beyonce did more R&B. Then you will start to see her turn to more pop. Then later a mix of pop, R&B, trap, etc. 😂
