The guy that broke into the mayor’s official home earlier this week, has a violent background in Massachusetts, for assault and I believe attempted murder. Why are they on the streets, usually released early for “good behavior” or “time served presentencing”. Their behaviors do not change, laws need to be stiffened not softened!

I am SICK AND TIRED of homeless people having as many rights as they've been afforded. This keeps happening. After the closure of the homeless encampments in Downtown L.A. and El Sereno, they flooded into our nice neighborhood and are littering our once beautiful streets. When we call the police here to tell them of the crap we see constantly, we are met with "they have rights too!" Yeah, well I don't pay nearly $3k a month for my apartment to have to then walk about my block and encounter these people. I am also sick of the "mental health" excuse. Call me the bad guy, but I don't want these people in my city where I've spent my entire life feel safe. It's bad enough they opened up a housing authority that allowed the seedy people in at a rate of a couple hundred dollars to live the same life I work hard for! HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE!
