Another great video!! I have RIV in my RSP and will be starting a position in CEFD, love the diversification!! I also have QYLD and will be adding JEPI. Cheers 🍻 to A&E
Thank you! I have several CEFs, almost all ones you pointed me to (GOF, OPP, RIV, ACP), but also a couple I found on my own (TEAF, RVT) and about which I'm not so confident in my ability to evaluate them. I'm in the US, so you may not know - are ETNs taxed the same as ETFs?
@@Nemo-yn1sp sorry about that! yeah sometimes its not easy but it should always be there. its basically the only way to find out. they are usually a mix of different income sources
@@PassiveIncomeInvesting Actually I went through the exercise of adding up the 46 funds and current price/weighting, and it's actually LESS than just buying YYY, by about a half a point. They must be using covered calls to boost the overall income then passing some of it to shareholders.
Can someone have a video or short explanation to see if it is a good idea to buy RIV.RT. E.G. if I purchase 200 RIV.RT, how many RIV I will get? I'm totally lost!!! Thanks a lot.
Maybe you should stop acting cool . You’re not… it’s called convenience and efficiency. Some people pay for that service . You know , like a restaurant ??
Hi Adrian, I found some fund for your overview, Bridgemarq real estate services inc TSE:BRE, with nice stable distribution. I think, it can interested you. Can't wait for your next video, thank you and good luck at Panama's paradise!!!
I hold RIV and I’m building CEFD.
Also building JEPI. Thanks again for the video! 🙂

hey bud , everything is taxed differently, best way to check is always on the funds websites for the breakdown
@@PassiveIncomeInvesting It's sometimes not so easy to spot. (ps not a male)

thank you ! love the information and help for all of us regular investors!
Excited to learn more about these!
This is exactly what I have been looking forward to for months now! Thanks bud
Wonder what kind of yield you’d get just buying all of the funds in YYY at the same weight.
Probably about the same yield

I don’t think so , what would they do cc on ? The management fee says it all , I think they just hold them via an index
Thanks Adrian, how long does the ETN (in this case CEFD) live? Is it going to be on the market forever or its lifecycle is limited?
you can never know i think... they can terminate them anytime but the "expiry date" is on the funds homepage CEFD = in 2050
Nice Job! I have positions in all of these.
Dose anyone know why Robin hood won't let you buy cef's
Probably too low risk and practical for its users.
Hi Adrian not much volume on CEFD worried about the liquidity if i have to bail you never know wanting to hold long term and collect divys
im not worried about it... bail? for what reason cartel kidnapping ransom?
Nice video Adrian 👍
i have a couple of CEF's and looking at a couple more. NDMO (tax free) and CLM, for now.
Ndmo ?? Tell me about that one !
One of your best videos ever, thanks for the content, I’ve been a big fan of cefs and other income generating products. Brian B

Those are the rights I believe not the actual fund
Again as always good content 🤜
Watched and liked, Adriano!
Some interesting CEFs are STK and BST.
yes there are hundreds of them
Funds of funds fees on fees yea that sounds like a good idea.Maybe i should start a fund of fund of funds and take a skim off the top.

yawn.....
FOF and SPE are CEFs that hold other CEFs.
PCEF and FCEF are ETFs that hold CEFs.
How is the income generated from those taxed for Canadians?
Watch my tax videos
What do you think of FUND, the Sprott focus trust?
Dime a dozen...this is why i prefer the all in ones!
CEFD is a very small fund with only 30 million in asset. it is thinly traded and illiquid. i wouldnt recommend it. hard to sell it
So I won’t sell it , problem solved …
Great video.. can you do a video on lifetime on etf etc, can etf close suddenly and you lose everything??
No buddy , it doesn’t work that way …
