Lina thank you for doing this. Have you used Spleeter or something similar? It's a plug in for ablation via docker. It uses spectral analysis to separate the stems from one another. People can DL spleeter from Bandcamp. It costs $5 and it's decent for what it does. Give it a look, I think you'll love it. AND, Big love and respect to you and your Husband. Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom with the rest of us.
Thanks Lna, this helped so much, I'm moving onto my year 13 course where we will be doing remixing, Mr Tuck says hi too, he has been my teacher this year and you have been so helpful with his year in the course.
Loved this tutorial! I'm making a remix right now for a contest, so this is super useful! (Side note: I'm surprised by the comments that say LNA talks too excitedly, I've watched other Ableton tutorials where the commentator's voice was so calm I almost fell asleep 😂 Keep up your positive energy, LNA! Please don't "calm down"!)
You’re an awesome RUclips channel. The only thing that I know about remastering and remix is that the guitars up the vocals are down and while a remix is the vocals up guitars are down and also you can remove effects when doing a remix and that’s true. I think 🤔 you know that type of remix that I’m chat 💬 about LNA because remix is definitely important when doing an anniversary album 💿 that’s for sure because remaster add effects remix remove effects like r.e.m did a monster remix and it’s way better than a remaster is that true?
1. THANK YOU! I needed a simple overview guide for this. Still a little confused about workflow but I just downloaded Ableton. When you are doing the pitch modulation on the sampler, for example, what are you using? A midi keyboard? I have a keyboard I can turn into midi but nothing else at the moment. 2. I love your sweater.
1. So happy you enjoyed this! I mainly use Ableton Push 2 MIDI controller but if you just starting with Live, it’s ok to use any controller you can get your hands on. 2. Hahh thanks! 😁
Hi, what if... I'd like to remix a song like "Missy Elliott - Lose Control" and I don't have stems on it.. So, what should I do? Please teach us more advance, Thanks! :)
This is the first time I've seen somebody giving away their own gear..love the hustle. And may I ask where you acquired the fabulous sweater??? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for this. I am finding it hard to find stems legally to then upload my remix on soundcloud. I heard that most remixes get taken down from soundcloud is that true? I have a few very popular songs that I would like to remix but I can not find anything to work on so far! :(
Yes that’s a nice one! ❤️ also have u tried doubling vocals, then bouncing them all of together and bring back.. then manipulate them as one unit. Fun textures 🙌
Do you do 1:1 training? I'm a total dabbler and need a swift kick in the ass from someone who knows what they're doing. If so let me know! I'm not rich, but I'm not broke. Either way - thanks.
Hi! I don’t do 1:1 lessons currently but there might be small classroom courses coming up in the future / also patreon feedback. So follow me in instagram to see when these happen @liina_music :)

LNA Does Audio Stuff I like to only take the vocals and build a song with it. And doing stuff that’s very weird 😅
Harshith nicee 🙌

Thanks Lna, this helped so much, I'm moving onto my year 13 course where we will be doing remixing, Mr Tuck says hi too, he has been my teacher this year and you have been so helpful with his year in the course.
That’s awesome! Glad you like the vids! Good luck with the course, you have an awesome teacher! 🙌
You’ll teach me alphabets, I’ll learn. You’re that charming! ❤

It’s alll vintage 🤷♀️👕👚
Where do you find a specific a cappella vocal from a song and how to upload it to Ableton?
Subbed! :)

I love doubling vocals and then pitch shifting them . Like -12 or +7.

@@LNADoesAudioStuff I'll try!
I’m only using Standard and don’t have sampler. Do you have alternatives for sampler? Thanks for this tutorial!
Simpler is great or there are plenty of 3rd party VST Samplers. :) If I wanna sample anything I usually use Simpler
good vid
Awesome! 😁
