It was copied from. Then made to look bad. That book wasn't really made for westerners. It just got rewritten for them.

I read someone where that the disciple Matthew went to Ethiopia. He raised the King's daughter from death. The Ethiopian King, wanted to marry a woman that wanted to server under Matthew and because Matthew told the King he couldn't marry the woman, the king had Matthew executed. I would disagree with you about your concept that everyone mostly spoke Hebrew, when custom would of been most speaking and conducting their lives in Greek. During the reign of the Roman empire, the predominate language spoke was Greek. The Roman empire had Israel conquered and was under Roman rule. Second, prior to the Roman empire, Alexander the Great ruled during the Greek empire changing the language of the day. Another reason I believe this is what John wrote in revelations and he said the mark of the beast was 666. In Greek numerals, the number 666 is written as χξϛ, where χ represents 600, ξ represents 60, and ϛ represents 6 Well, what he thought he was seeing greek but what he was seeing the symbols χξϛ in Arabic which means "in the name of Allah"
