Beautiful vlog, thanks guys 🙇♂ Japanese maple tree (A. Palmatum) is one of the most beautiful trees anywhere, but when autumn arrives and the leaves change colour it's game over, nothing like it. Add to it the most refined tradition of garden design and beautiful Japanese temples and you get Kyoto's gardens, the absolute top. (good thing they declared the old imperial capital a UNESCO world heritage site, I can't think of a place more deserving )
Wow the amount of people at Kiyomizu! I was there around 7 like 3 weeks ago and there was like a third of that, but also a third of red leaves haha. Barely. Absolutely love Kamogawa river. We happened to see deers in the river a bit more north of the city.
Such a great video, it’s amazing how much the colours have changed in the past three weeks. It looks so different. We came for three weeks at the end of October which I guess is a bit early. Would you suggest end of November to early December being better?

いつも楽しく拝見してます。自分も大学時代は大阪だったんで週末は阪急電車で京都はよく行ってました。それにしても早朝から清水寺はメチャ混みですねw 市バスも満員でなかなか乗れないと聞いたんでビックリしてます。サニーさんたちは関西在住のようですのでいつでも行けて羨ましいです。出町柳の商店街は京都アニメーションの「たまこマーケット」の舞台にもなったんで懐かしいです。

京都はいい意味で、作られた自然であり、ワビサビ(侘び寂び)を表現するために、自然を人工的に作っています。なので、紅葉の赤は日本でも稀に見る「赤」であり、赤や緑の配置は絶妙です。
