I mean for me to this day older games still hype me up more then what we get nowadays. I actually just finished this game today, after buying it last weekend, and even though I don't like it as much as Cod 4, World at War or Black Ops, I really appreciate this one. Especially for the time, it nailed the atmosphere, the soundtrack was great, and gave me a new insight about World War 2. I felt emotional when the game came to an end, even though there were many points I felt frustrated with the game, I am definitely glad I played through it. It also made me realise what Call of Duty has become. I will always remember this game, and this theme will be what I remember the most, as it truly captures the game. It's a shame that many CoD fans don't even mention this game much. Thank you Call of Duty 1, for the great experience :)

Being just another casualty that served a purpose of being killed in a pointless conflict for control over a tiny piece of the mode of cosmic dust the Earth is. That's why you should cry for them. Either way, I wasn't saying the original CoD games were bad by any stretch of the imagination, and I'm not saying CoD at the time was a "fad". But WW2 games were a fad, there's no doubt about that.
