Thanks. I bought the pattern. I have a question. Are you pricking the outer piece prior to skiving! If so are you pricking from the back? Or, are you only pricking the inner long piece and pockets then using a stitching awl? I could not get the diagonal lines to line up!

Hi! Yes, I'm doing it that way. No I'm not pricking it from the back, the diagonal lines don't have to line up (direction-wise). It's like the 2nd method in this video: ruclips.net/video/ELSBYbENz2U/видео.html
If you would like it to line up completely, you can prick from the flesh side or you an inverse iron. But I prefer the method above.
