No main character Has ever been killed in the re series and i honestly think its time. Especially due to the depressing tone of this trailer and 'no hope left'. Not that i wont be heartbroken to see one of our heros die but if its in a way that would save other people it just seems right for the storyline. We have to much confidence that our protagonists will never die as we are playing them but that needs to change

Revelations isn't a 'side adventure' it fills gaps. it doesn't matter when it takes place, it's canon and was released this year. Also, RE5 took place in 2009 not 11.

Well MGS kinda ended, I mean Solid Snake's story is ended, but they're continuing it with Raiden and some more of Big Boss' story prior to the original Metal Gear. Studios say they are "planning" an MGS movie, but I doubt it will ever get made because people have said they were gonna make an MGS movie for like a decade. Yes, the RE movies are crappy, I even tried to adapt the RE games, I've adapted 1&2 and did a damn good job if I say so myself. And wrote blueprints for the others.
They were origanlly the same character. Old Dante a design concept for Leon in the beginning, they scrapped it then went back and made the design a charcter and that's how you got Devil May Cry. When it comes to scrapping and creating new characters from those scrapes Capcom does it real good.
I recomend you to use the laser aim system with 4 of sensibility and turn off all the indicators to make your experience with the game more exciting and if you want to get scared play it when you are completely alone in the night, and if you saw all the trailers or played the demos before playing the game for 1st time, sorry but you just fucked for yourself the surprising exiting moments of this AMAZING RE GAME!!!
Marcus and Edward Ashford are both dead. None of the Umbrella Founders are alive anymore. Ada was never really good or bad. She kind of plays both sides but seems to have her own agenda. There seems to be a new villain for this game if you've watched all the trailers. Well, game comes out at midnight so we'll know everything then!=D

There is a PC version, but it comes out at a later date and lucky for you and all pc gamers-as always, you get the refined version, with no screen tearing or bugs and more gfx features...I guess its worth the wait :)

Every recent RE game I feel like it's the gonna be the last one of the canon series, like MGS4, well I was close it's the last one of the Solid Snake canon. Like last time, I thought RE5 was gonna be the last one since they killed off Wesker. But again, I feel like this one is the last one, I feel like the last one should have a main cast reunion. Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire, Sherry, and Ada, maybe Barry and Rebecca. Not all as playable characters, but as cameos.
I really hope I'm not dissapointed with this game, or the new direction they are going in. It'll be interesting to see where they take take the story though. I like the idea of a global outbreak finaly breaking out.
