I'm sure she would shine even in Twice. She's got the right combination of visuals, dancing and singing talent, charisma on stage and personality. But now she's grown in age, accumulated a big fanbase for herself, had a taste of being the centre and face of a popular girl group so it proves that life had better plans for her. I hope JYP doesn't disappoint us with the rumoured new girl group he's been preparing for Somi. It won't do her any justice if she's been forced to wait for a mediocre group that doesn't suit her talent.

Imo I didn't think anything could look frumpy on Somi but her new stage outfit is so. Frumpy. It makes her look way older, and not in a good way. I really think they should have kept it simple, with maybe a crop top or miniskirt to accentuate her youthful and bubbly personality. Idk, the only stage outfits I really liked were Chaeyoung's and Yewon's. The rest of them are either too outlandish or too pedestrian. I really think their outfits need some kind of common theme/design so they don't look like they came straight out of a traveling circus.

As someone who has been in a dance group and helped design several stage outfits, it's important for the outfits to have some kind of unity so you don't look like a bunch of random people who decided to jump on stage for a dance party. Good guideline is to use one of the following: same style same color, same style different colors, or same color different styles. These outfits are just kinda disjointed. I think bright colors can work, but they would look much better with white instead of black, or even just on their own.

In contrary to other groups' like twice and kara, i believe AOA's were prob the closest that can fit most of them. Theyre all skinny but AOA is the healthiest skinny out of three. Twice is basically children clothing and Kara is impossible bcs they all have skinny waists.

i've never been fond of different colors for a group because the unity isn't built in in the colors and i do agree with the guy choreographer, the clothes will definitely make them look chaotic on stage especially since they won't be able to totally perfect the dance moves unlike the demo group 😱 (although it's a given that they will be able to perform the dance correctly) unique and different colored clothes for each member will only look united if the members dance TOTALLY in sync. i hope the stylist gives them one color instead but with just different styles, i think it will improve their clothes look 😭

If they did AT LEAST they gave them the same type of clothes but different colors it would have been "okay" but here it is: NOT the same outfit, NOT the same color, it DOESN'T even suit their body type and most of all it looks CHEAP! Alex mewmewgirl agreed 👍 have you seen the video of their VLive? they danced almost full song clothed in school uniforms and although their dancing isn't in sync yet, they looked good especially since they were wearing the same clothes. i hope the producer and choreographers seriously talk this out with the stylist. notice how her designs for other groups like twice,aoa and girls day have the same color but with just different designs?i think she specializes in those and not in differently colored clothes, she should've sticked with her usual styling instead. her designs for those groups are awesome so i'm sad that her design for the unnies is a letdown 😭
Even if the outfits aren't finalized I really hate them. I only like minzy's. I was disappointed I even think the outfits from shut up were way prettier ,but this colorful theme makes them look like the power rangers, it's weird. I don't know about this at all. i've never been fond of different colors for a group because the unity isn't built in in the colors and i do agree with the guy choreographer, the clothes will definitely make them look chaotic on stage especially since they won't be able to totally perfect the dance moves unlike the demo group 😱 (although it's a given that they will be able to perform the dance correctly) unique and different colored clothes for each member will only look united if the members dance TOTALLY in sync.
i hope the stylist gives them one color instead but with just different styles, i think it will improve their clothes look 😭
Thank you for saying this! I totally agree with you! I don't like these outfits at all! If they did AT LEAST they gave them the same type of clothes but different colors it would have been "okay" but here it is: NOT the same outfit, NOT the same color, it DOESN'T even suit their body type and most of all it looks CHEAP! I am so disappointed!
Alex mewmewgirl agreed 👍 have you seen the video of their VLive? they danced almost full song clothed in school uniforms and although their dancing isn't in sync yet, they looked good especially since they were wearing the same clothes. i hope the producer and choreographers seriously talk this out with the stylist. notice how her designs for other groups like twice,aoa and girls day have the same color but with just different designs?i think she specializes in those and not in differently colored clothes, she should've sticked with her usual styling instead. her designs for those groups are awesome so i'm sad that her design for the unnies is a letdown 😭

Even if the outfits aren't finalized I really hate them. I only like minzy's. I was disappointed I even think the outfits from shut up were way prettier ,but this colorful theme makes them look like the power rangers, it's weird. I don't know about this at all. Maybe if they had minzy's outfit and different colored shirts and designs alike then it would be nice ,but seriously she dropped the ball. And why does Sook always get the ugly outfit's? It looks like she expected to look more feminine ,and got disappointed when she saw all she got was a t-shirt and pants.
