pu ta (fur-hair, or simply fur) is right. Uta is honorific for hair, which wouldn't be used for an animal's (zomo's). An old Lhasa joke, in mirth of someone not versed in honorific, goes this way: Once a young guy said to teacher, "Respected teacher, when I was coming ('pheb yong due, honorific to oneself!) I saw a dog-la (respected dog) with a nice uta (hair) and a respected horse (rta la, ta la) was respectfully urinating (chab sang tang gi duk)."

I never learned... My dad passed away a couple months after I posted that comment.. idk why but when I hear this song I get sad and want to cry, thinking about my dad.. I hope he knows that even though I was distracted and distant that I thought about him and the rest of my family all the time.. I really let them down... But I find comfort in the day he passed away, I walked outside his house and walked down the street and written into the cement was "sur", the odds! The wheels of time stop for no one, how I deeply understand that, and the price for that is too great..

I never learned... My dad passed away a couple months after I posted that comment.. idk why but when I hear this song I get sad and want to cry, thinking about my dad.. I hope he knows that even though I was distracted and distant that I thought about him and the rest of my family all the time.. I really let them down... But I find comfort in the day he passed away, I walked outside his house and walked down the street and written into the cement was "sur", the odds! The wheels of time stop for no one, how I deeply understand that, and the price for that is too great..
