Salam aleykom, this video is incredible ! How nice it is to highlight this issue by letting women talk about their own experiences. Yes it's small and it is not easy to come to a solution, but talking about it is a first step towards a great understanding between men and women. A lot of brothers are yelling or making ashamed sisters who just want to perform salah while we are all born to do it. I mean being respectful is the least some can do. However I know also that a lot of brothers are not really aware of our situation. How many times our prayers were disturbed by the lack of understanding?
I have been turned away from praying in the mosque. (Not this one) I am still shocked that men of the mosque would rather I either pray on the street(?) or miss my prayers altogether
That’s what is astonishing! Yes! They would rather see you pray on the snow and rain than letting you in! This was not the way of Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Subhanallah this mosque. Before I even knew about it I went into it to pray with my friends into an upstairs room and at least 3 rooms were completely empty. There were at least 3/4 floors and only about 4 men on the bottom floor. After 5 minutes of sitting a man stormed into the room and shouted at us to leave. We refused and said we will miss Maghrib and after a bit of back and forth he left us alone. Very scary experience. I don’t get how a “religious” man can act this way.
i think he explained it nicely at the end, where practically speaking, the building is not set up optimally to accomodate both men and women for easy use of facilities. Although i have actually never heard of men only mosques before this video
@@adamahmed366 In the UK a lot of mosques are MEN only, now days the mosques with WOMEN we call them sunnah mosques, LIKE someone might say this mosque is not sunnah mosque if they do not have facilities for ladies
It's not jahiliya there are different opinions regarding women going to mosque and in the hanafi madhab there is an opinion that because of the increased fitna it's better for women to pray at home. There are hadith to back this opinion up. This might be the reason there are mosques that don't have female area but calling a valid opinion jahiliya is wrong.
@@luce3619 That difference of opinion is regarding which place is better for women to pray, not regarding permissiblity. The whole ummah agrees that women can't be prevented from going to a Masjid. This means no mosque can stop women from praying in it. So even if a certain group believes that it's better for women to pray at home, they still can't prevent women from going to the masjid. But in the Indian subcontinent very few mosques allow women. In fact many believe that it's impermissible for women to go to mosques 🤦♀️
So on 4 floors they can't add another washroom? There's no alternative exit not even as a fire escape? This just sounds like nobody cares about the women praying to even make half an effort.
I was recently there to pray and they close at athan time. You had to be there before or catch the door when it unlocked. Sometimes they don't even open. Thankfully they put a sign to direct to pray at Muslim World Leage masjid instead that's within walking distance. There seems to be management problem or even property(?) that perhaps show they need some sort of assistance. Best to get this out from the source than falsely speculating and backbiting.
Cannot stop women from going to the mosque, it a sin. Women are advised to pray at home but if she is away from home, helping with family economy. Please stop funding this mosque it not follow sun ah. No excuse! You prohibited women to pray it a sin, answer to Allahazawajala in day of judgement! These women will blame the mosque carer for these rejection!!

I think the reasons they turned away, is because: (1) The mosque is a very small place (which can’t take more people for the safety). (2) Some women talking too much in masjid. (3) Some women come with very small children who are crying when in salah, and other women come with their 3-8 yrs old children who are coming in to masjid and play football or making voices, when others are praying……and the worse thing is the mothers of those children don’t stop them or teach them the ADAB of masjid. Even most of those mothers they become angry if you tell those children not to make crazy voices or not to play football in masjid. Pls mothers teach your children the ADAB of Masjid, so that everyone can have a peace of mind in masjid. Thanks for sharing, Almaqhrib..

Isn’t there a Hadith saying you can’t prevent women going to the mosque? Search it up

It’s discrimination against women and specifically against the Sunnah! DO NOT PREVENT WOMEN FROM Attending Salah in the Masjid!

I believe they do go on to have a discussion with the mosque, and is shown in the course.

It’s strange that there is a “men only” masjid in non-Muslim country. Maybe that makes in a Muslim majority country. Strange.
It's a because government of a non Muslim country wont give Grants to muslims to buy a large land to accommodate women also. So it's not weird
