I lived in Japan as a boy and teenager at the time Graciela Susana was very popular there. I was always moved by her beautiful songs and her popularity as a foreigner there. This week another famous Argentine artist, and great friend of mine, died in Argentina. His name was Norberto Luppi and his paintings of Argentine pampas and marine landscapes became popular in Japan as well... Graciela's voice and Norberto's paintings reminded me of that far away land.... thanks to them both. Today Graciela Susana is quite ill and lonely... people hearing to her music make her happy...
