Just noticed the same driver on the 43306, as it went in and back on it’s return at 13:42 recognised his face with the glasses! Haha. Great video again.
Ah yes, Sam Cooper (@Sam SC) was the driver on that run! It was great to see him on the HSTs again. Thanks for watching Flynn (and welcome to my channel 😃)
@@StarlifeStudios thank you, binge watching most of them already. You should make a trip to Reading at some point now they’ve transitioned onto the class 800. Great viewpoints in every platform
Thank you Flynn, Reading is a great suggestion. Like you said, I visited Reading in 2015 although back then HSTs were the mainstay of InterCity! I’ll try and go back as soon as I can 😃
Mega video from Syston. Been wondering where Cross Country Trains would divert off the Midland Mainline and now we know. Great mixed variety as well :-)
Thanks Ricky, this is the first (of many) 2021 video I've put up and I have recorded many over the last few weeks pending a return to weekly videos once my education is all sorted! I hoped to capture more XC trains here although their timetable is every two hours and I missed one when I arrived. Thanks for watching though 😃
Thank you Imperialist 😃. With less than a week to go of the MML HSTs, I've got a lot of content saved up of them already and I may even film the last one out of St Pancras if I get time later this week. I will also be sad to see them go, I've known them on the Midland Mainline for as long as I can remember. End of an era.
Maybe. This isn’t my local so I don’t visit it a lot but it is one of my favourites because of the unhindered view of fast midland mainline trains. The freight is pretty good as well! 😃
Thanks Arnold! I had no opportunity to put the information in the video for that one. It was 222018 operating 1C37 from Sheffield to St Pancras.. 2 minutes early!! 😃

Would you be doing Corby and Kettering once the Class 360 "EMR Connect" Desiro trains have entered service. EMR should keep the Class 43 Mk3 HSTs for little bit longer despite EMR wants to replace them as well the Class 180 Adelante and Class 222 Meridians with the Hitachi Class 810 "Aurora" IETs coming into service from 2022/23.
I believe it is an empty stock service which is used to keep driver route knowledge via Corby. I don't think there are many passengers services on that route.
Hello Daniel, I’ll take a look at Fleet next time I’m in the area. I do have an upcoming video at a station in that area starting with W 😃 Thanks for the suggestion!

Absolutely brilliant as usual!
Fantastic video! I really enjoyed this :)
Thank you so much Trainspotter11!

Great video as always. 👍
First, also nice freight catches, high speed catches and the final hsts
Especially the DR trains catches
Thanks Daniel. The DR trains certainly caught me off guard.. I had no idea what it was when I looked in the distance! Glad you enjoyed 😃
Great video mate. 8:25 a meridian just went pass to London St. Pancras and got bold by a shed lol 😂.

I always try and find out Arnold 😃
Better than a meridian bowling a shed lol
Brilliant video mate, I was at Nottingham and Tamworth yesterday
Yes, the MML. Not too far from me either. Great video!
Awesome! It not too far from my home base either 😃 Thank you!
Awesome video! Went here a few days ago.
Great! Did you manage to capture some variety as well? I'm told this section of the Midland Mainline is one of the best for East-West freight.
Great vid
Amazing video! 😃
Thanks! 😃
You’re welcome, my love

Definitely Andrew. The Midland Mainline is not expected to receive any 'New' trains for several years so the 360s will have to do for now!

2:56 why is the 9 on it so big
156912 used to be 156412 before it moved to EMR. The 9 was added to tell staff that it cannot operate in multiple with a 156/4. Hope this helps 😃
