Honestly Army deployments should be 6 months like they are in other branches. No parent should be away from their kids for an entire year of their lives. I don't have any kids but I'm planning on it one day and that would be my biggest turn off from reenlisting.

I really hate the comments hating on women soldiers. That's the main reason I want to join the military one day . To prove all those sexist jerks wrong. Girls can kick ass too! Love this video so sad tho. But your doing your job . Thank you for your service to our country god bless you and your girls and husband !

All soldiers deserve our thanks, I agree, but if it were my wife/girlfriend/fiancee going, I'd take it so much harder, especially if I lost her, I couldn't bear it.
