I've listened to Teatro Lúcido a few times now and I truly believe the extensive use of Spanish in this album gave La Femme the creative freedom to express themselves fully. Not just lyrically, where the songs range vastly in concept from romantic, funny, charming, sad and shocking but audibly too. Spanish music certainly influenced this album but I love how they managed to tailor it to their own sensibilities as musicians, giving Teatro Lúcido its own distinctive essence. Perhaps it was more a work of art and love to them than it was a work made solely for money's sake. I don't know how popular this album will be among the French given the language barrier but to me it's one of their best works.
The jump from French and Spanish is not that big. French and Spanish share a lot of similarities (in language as Romance languages and in culture) . What people misunderstand is literature/reading.... French is the hardest Vulgar-Latin-language left, so reading is not the same as pronunciation--(meaning French would be hard for mono-linguals). I think they just felt inspired, and most people knew Spanish/from Spain (b/c of their accent). -- Spanish/French speaker Excellent album. Mixing languages--extra plus.

J'ai découvert ce groupe il y a peu grâce au jeune homme de la médiathèque qui s'occupe du département musique.. j'adore et j'adhère à 100/00. C'est original, de qualité, créatif, et varié. Continuez, magnifique 🤩
Seule une élite culturelle écoute ce genre de musique en France (La Femme, French 79, Weekend Affair, Vitalic, NTO, MEUTE, FAUVE, Elephanz, Kid Francescoli etc...), 99% des français écoutent de la merde, genre Jul, Drake et toute cette bouillie infâme qui fait saignée les oreilles... tu vas être déçu si tu viens en France. Aux US, ils sont fans de la French Touch et il y a des concerts de French 79, Vitalic etc. dans toutes les grandes villes

Vous ne cessez de surprendre d'album en album, votre film paradigmes a une ambition de déglingo : vous alliez le storytelling, l'esthétique, la musique et votre univers si singulier et maintenant Teatro Lúcido....punaise vous êtres vraiment un groupe très très très à part sur la scène Française, à la limite du trésor national ! :D Bon ok c too much mais c'est amplement mérité, votre douce folie est sublime et la musique votre écrin pour la recevoir et nous la transmettre :)

J'étais tombé amoureux du premier album en 2013, j'avais moins écouté depuis (et yavait pas eu la magie qui m'avait happé avec le premier album). Et dans cet album, bien que totalement différent, je retrouve cette magie qui m'emporte, je vous écoute en boucle depuis ce we ! Mille Merci pour cette magie que vous arrivez à créer et à transmettre !
Apres ca reste un tres bon album, de tres belle chansons, melodie etc etc... mais ca s'eloigne de la femme que j'aime. Apres le groupe evolue avec le temps, il se fait plaisir, il trouvera son public, j'irai le revoir en concert des que possible.
Je raffole de ce groupe de jeunes, talentueux, créatif, varié, inventif, musical tout pour plaire. Vraiment super... Continuez dans ce sens vous sortez de l'ordinaire ce qui fait votre succès. Bravo à vous 😘

Is it crazy to think the musics are connected telling a tragic story? I cant connect all songs through lyrics yet but in sacatela it mentions a "tío" obcessed with a girl. In the middle of the album a couple songs tottaly change pace and also it changes to a male singing "el tío del padu" and "el conde duque", it sounds like traditional regional songs related to bars and clearly in the second song the singers are drunk. After that we get "no pasa nada" which pretty much describes an abuse, a guy giving more drinking to a drunk woman, probably giving her some drug to sleep, then in the end of the music the woman wakes up in a strange house with police outside confirming the suspect abuse. Next song "resaca" which means hangover, this song comes with a more melancholic tone followed by an even more sad song "tren de la vida" with a very pessimist vision of life, and in the end of the song it says about the train getting to an end for a passenger that left us - died. Last song is the sadest, no vocals except a crying woman in the background and it does sounds like a funeral vibe. I cant yet recognized conection and deeper meaning on other songs but these ones do seem to be conected about a girl that was abused and maybe it was killed in the abuse or killed herself after a while and it finished with a tragic and melancholic end. Maybe the woman from the album over is the victim, maybe it is just singing her story.

Second place for Mystere (Vagues is a masterpiece song, got goosebumps just typing the song title) ahead of Paradigmes but it came with a different sound , i loved it too. I can't say the same for this one, i don't like it and its not for the language. I prefer to put on loop some extra songs like EP Runway or the less known Witchcraft or Paris 2012 or EP Me suive.

Ballade Arabo-Andalouse don't even have defined lyrics, but still is my fav track in this album. The echoed sobs twist something in my heart, it feels like an empowering moment of revenge
