You need a little bit more investment on him than la pluma (6star cost, module, mastery, and all that) but he is MUCH more powerful than la pluma that isn't even a contest. His S3 is especially very powerful for his class. Not only that it add so much attack to overcome enemies defense, as i remember it, it also extend his range (to spread shooter range) and multiply his heal/hit. it also inflict a special mark onto everything that's got attacked by his S3 (even if is just once), and then at the end of the skill explodes and deal a significant nuke damage. However, the reaper class restrictions still apply. He cant hit air, cant be healed normally, and very dependent on their burst skill to survive heavy bombardment or killing a tanky enemies. Executor alter is, for most people, a neat and very powerful self sufficient lane holder (thorns, mountain, mudrock, penance) so if you lack those he is really good. But if you need something unique its gotta be typhoon/eyja for the foreseeable 6 months. Eyja is the embodiment of overhealing while typhoon is the strongest 1vs1 boss killer.
