@@samporter6322 Just add rotors. There are 3, 4, even 7 rotor or more wankel engines. Stack the longest sandwich you can fit in your engine compartment. Custom rotories are amazing.

The few advantages that rotary engines once had are negligible with the advancements in technology that have taken place. It's a dead concept. That's why you literally never see them in the wild anymore. Very few and far between

There are damn few normal standard bikers that can even handle a slide into a corner, much less drift a bike, much less that beautifully and accurately! Kudos man - that was awesome!
I completely disagree the bike has less wheels which means less grip, has a much higher power to weight ratio which equals more power to keep the drift going, a long wheel base with mid mounted engine which will mean a more balanced and stable vehicle when in drifts and he can use hes body weight to change the angle of the bike for easier sliding. The only thing that may make a bike drift more impressive is that when it goes wrong the bike will flip and a car will just spin and most probably be alright.
scooked films Have you tried it with a bike? No you havent. It takes a long time to lean how to drift a bike while a car literally takes a day, not even. I can drift my bike a little im running a 2009 1400cc Hayabusa with a extended swing arm and its still difficult
scooked films on a bike its not just knowing how to do it, you have to be able to grab on to it and balance it so you wont fall off, and it's actually really hard to do
Murphys Law This is just my opinion but you should try a smaller bike on snow or something. It's really easy and so much fun. :) When I had my 50cc moped I spent all day in the winter sliding all over the place with my friends. Of course it's slippery and you can fall off easily but it's still really fun. After that proper drifting might be a little bit easier. I havent tried it though.

Drifting is the art of maintaining control when your car is out of control. It is extremely cool (at least, in my opinion) and has an entire fanbase and Grand Prix dedicated to it. Lots of money, time and effort has been spent on this form of motorsport. If you look at some drifters (Mad Mike Whiddett, Vaughn Gittin Jr, etc), you will see that they have very expensive and specialised drifting vehicles, showing just how much of a real motorsport this is! Drift FTW!
"Must be slow if an RC can keep up" As far as I know, they can go about 100mph. Sure it wont keep up with everything that happens but damn, you think 100mph is slow for a car as big as your foot?

Cars drift easy, some drivers are better or worse, no dis-but if a car has tight suspension, some hp and rear wheel drive it wants to drift. But that bike rider! Man he tore it up! Thumbs up to the car driver for great control and to the camera man for a great video clip and catching bike and car together for a great perspective, double thumbs up for the bike rider!
Amazing video - love the little RC! A little sad myself because I came here hoping for a real car v bike race (the last of which I read was a viper verses a ZX10R iirc), where as this was just awesome posing. 12M hits of awesome posing nonetheless.

Did you guys ride dirt to get these bike drifting skills down. That's what did it for me. But im ending my campaign on Super Moto's, best of both worlds!

The swing arm is the horizontal suspension piece that the rear wheel is attached to. It's got a pivot point so it can swing up and down, all bikes have them. But this one is longer, see how the back wheel sticks out behind the bike pretty far? Normally the wheel is much farther forward. Like u said, the extended arm helps prevent wheelies, so I suppose that's how it helps with drifting. See, we both learned something! :)
it's still on another level.. if you you mess up a drift in a car, you spin out. if you mess up on a bike, it's going to be a high side crash and hurt a little bit more.
Noted the wheelbase & assumed that in such a highly professional demonstration it was specifically related, certainly that car's nothing like I have ever driven either. I have however drifted lots of stock street cars (to a relative degree in my small world) I also ride a 2003 ZX9R and to me a drift would be the thing I did just before a crash - and yup, I'm not that hot on a bike, just an old biker that only sport and dual sport bikes happen to appeal to. Just noting what impressed me most.
I have to admit that the RC car was my favorite part, at the end I was waiting for it to pull a wheelie to mock Nick. As for those questioning the LS engine swap, the FD chassis has perfect balance for that engine.
Have to revisit this series every once in a while.

Although I love that muscle engine sound, they ruined the RX-7 by swapping it in.. Rotary much better under that tuner's hood.
