THANK YOU. I think people are obsessed with the lives of celebrities because...well, famous people are entertainment. You love them. Hate them. You get to know them. You judge them. You admire their clothes. You notice their wrinkles. Their weight gain. Weight loss. They become a pretend-part of gossipy people. It's that simple. I've heard customers casually call European nobles by their first names as if they personally know them. -.- I've seen meant messed up comments made by creepy fans who "notice" things. I think celebrities somehow become... walking dramas. Watch them go from young and pretty, to drunk and confused, to rehab... redemption...marriage... grieving...omg she's wearing an old sweater...etc etc They become things people watch and fantasize about because...they are just entertainment. :( Thank you. I never cared for celebrities I’ve never hanged out or talked to, everytime when somebody say this celebrity passed away, i just say who’s that if i don’t know their name, if you showed me a picture and I recognized it, I just say that sucks and move on, that person doesn’t know me and I don’t know them in their private life why should i care. We like to think things important, but if it's something we identify with having then we feel special, it's importance rises our own and we become attached and semi paranoid due to self importance. Some things offer a non attached importance because it's something someone else has that we don't have, so it's safer, unless we feel we can get something from it then they become self importance raisers and we get paranoid about it not working out. If we can be humble and lower our self importance than we can get ourselves out of that emotional game
