I'm not giving up. I'm struggling till the end. God help me! I got a shot of God's grace recently, a bit of fortitude to not give up. I went to Church & felt it deep down yesterday. I do hate sin, even when I mess up. God help me not to mess up w/ the big stuff! I won't give up on the little things, b/c then I'll be doomed. God help us!!!

Don't give up, even if you feel that your faith is faltering. "Lord I believe, help my unbelief!"
I think of death often. It can come when we less expect. I see many people on 20s or 30s (like me) saying tomorrow tomorrow...but anything can happen. Repent now and ask God to stay repentant. Thats what i do...falling and getting up. God is the only way
Please pray for me and my family to be guided to Holy Orthodoxy. It’s getting tough.. Lord Jesus Christ, save us all, sinners.

I'm gonna get to liturgy next Sunday on time, say the prayers, & commune. God will help me.
Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner
O Lord! Help me to struggle! I get very despairing in the middle of the night! If I turn to God and the Jesus Prayer the feelings leave. I am not very faithful in fasting and give myself excuses so I beg God to help me hate my sin more!
I have trouble with fasting too.

To resist takes effort on our part. Satan doesn't really have to work very hard with most Christians since we're so lazy. We can make it on time to work, movies, concerts, yet can barely arrive before the gospel reading. We battle ourselves more than satan.
I tend to agree. I think we can definitely be our own worst enemy at times.
Even people who dont watch movies or only ones on the saints has other problems...sometimes i surrender to apathy or tiredness and I am just sitting thinking of nothing. We need to observe our behaviours and ask Christ to change us.

i struggle with this every single day. I don't always hate sin and sometimes I willingly indulge.
Good that you recognize it. Now call upon God continually until you no longer are a slave to sin. Ask Him to enlighten you what you need to do to AVOID sin. Take refuse in the saints. Find a spiritual father.
and start reading the lives of the saints
In the end it's the soul or the body that wins.Watch what you watch online and stop the entry points of sin .Be careful of the sins of the flesh it takes a lot of faith and self-discipline to do this but it can be done with help and daily fellowship with the Holy Spirit and reading the Bible. God always gives us a way out of sin and He never gives us more than we can handle.
Thankfully God helped me hate sin. I naturally love it. But, praying to see WHY I should hate it, and yeah, it's easier to hate the sin through HIS eyes! Gotta want it and pray for it.

Fr. Heers is right on ,it's undiluted and very real. I never watched any of his videos,I suspect the Holy Spirit guided me to watch this video and is strengthening Christians who seek him.
We are trained we must win in the world for its glory but we cannot overcome the world and receive the Glory of God without first losing to it. Crucified and so sheered of it all. The Royal Path our Lord Jesus leads us gently to and carries us beyond.
