Tip 9: "Take a break from what is stressing you" absolutely gold. I took a break from making vlogs because FPV turned from "let's have some fun flying" to "I still need to film something interesting for my next video". I know, I but that burden on myself but taking a break from it made me fully enjoy/experience FPV again.
@@_REMIE yeah bro I know all about that stress of feeling the need to make videos 🥵 but good to take a break now and then and just enjoy flying for sure. Thanks for watching and supporting!! ☺️🙏🙏
Great tips Patrick! I like to go back to old spots several months later to see how much I’ve improved from before it’s always crazy to see the progress and makes me feel good inside 😎🤘🏻
From watching your Freestyle Pilots that inspired you, I found practising my horizon levelling has improved my flying dramatically! Watching you and JohnnyFPV, I now try and flick rolls, yaws and spins in a calculated manner. It's a great skill and looks amazing when you get the muscle memory! ALSO GO WATCH THE DRONE FEST UK EDIT, AND ATTEND NEXT YEAR!
Great video! Again, feeling called out by some of the points, especially the left turning habit 😂. Personally, I'd say that flying with other and better pilots, and creating challenges is one of the main things that helped me improve. I always have a grind mindset when I like something. So, challenges and getting challenged by better pilots can give you the right environment for grinding and challenging yourself. If you personally enjoy grinding, you should try something new and just grind it.
@@btastic_fpv thanks bro! And you’re not alone. I’ve done sooooo many flights where I only turn left 😅 when you’re in the moment it’s hard to think about what you are doing wrong. Anyway you’re doing great bro, keep sending it 🚀
very good video patrick👌 I have been using this exact strategy for a long time and preach it to my friends. We have a very similar routine, flying on Sundays and doing the simulator during the week😁 But I take it a bit further by optimizing the sticks by changing the length of the stick ends, holding the sticks differently with my thumb and index finger and setting the gimbal paths differently. As well as letting go of the stick after certain combos. That can also make a big difference when flying in my opinion. keep it up🙌
@@ChrisRooneyFPV hey bro! That’s awesome. I’m intrigued about the stick ends stuff. What do you mean about setting the gimbal path differently? Also are you letting go of the sticks to force yourself to perfect a move and then have no corrections? 🤔
@@fpvwithpatrick bro i study at moment the theory about sticks😂 i talk much with fauve about that and have seen some stick videos from him and kastyh. With the gimbal path a mean the length of the way you can move. The most radios you can adjust the ways of the gimbals. The second thing is the combination of stickends length in combination with the path length (leverage) and how you hold your sticks (I am pincher but with other position on my index finger). All that give me more control in throttle and moves. The letting go your stick can give you cleanest move possible In different situations. For example in backwards flying when you let go you roll stick you eliminate micros moves on this axis. Marius was a master in this strategy.
Great advice. I definitely have found stick time both in the sim and out in the wild to be the best way to get better. I set challenges both in the sim and the wild. I'm still pretty bad but doing these has helped me a lot.

Not trying to come off as an asshole, but these aren’t cheat codes. You basically just told your audience to practice, stay consistent, and challenge yourself. When it comes to fpv there really aren’t many cheat codes. It’s a developed skill, much like any skill it needs to be further developed and practiced and often as possible.
