This is another whisper project 'special' - a collaboration with the wonderful people at '9ft in Common' - the brainchild of Amberlea Neely & Aisling Rusk.

9ft in Common aim to 'uncover the complexities and share the possibilities of an infrastructure of urban alleyways, Belfast’s wild and liminal spaces'

It so happens that in the shared alleyway of Hyndford Street, Belfast - resides one Joshua Burnside, on the street where Van Morrison grew up..
So on the eve of the Irish summer - 'Beltane', Amberlea & Aisling suggested the residents of Hyndford gather in their own 9ft in common, with bbq, bins, planting and song.

'Up and Down' is one of those songs, performed by Joshua, guitarist Dan Byrne-Mccullough & cellist Zara Byrne-Mccullough. It is a beautiful, quiet reflection on our troubled times.
