I love how excited he got for FC6. Its true its "the same game every year" but the gunplay is always awesome with tweaks that keep it really fresh, and if they can nail a riveting story it will be great. Too many haters in the chat who don't contribute anything, or understand what goes into developing things.

I havent tried far cry 6 yet but i thouroughly enjoyed far cry 5 and the antagonist was one of the best in the series. The ending was a great fuck you to the entire team of "good guys" too because despite the cult being fucked up and awful, the dude was literally right the entire fuckin time and we just danced to the tune that our orders forced us to.
Far cry 6 gameplay clips ive seen look amazing and some people have pulled some incredible stuff off. People who make cyberpunk combat videos that are mind blowing have made far cry 6 videos that looked absolutely insane too. So its actually not bad?

All of their games are the same thing with a different backdrop. Open world checklist simulators with combat that plays itself and forced RPG elements that don't belong and are only there for you to either waste time or pay for microtransactions to speed the artificially slowed down progression.

As an old gamer, I completely agree. The fact that people expect every game to be 10/10 or it's trash has driven software companies to release some games way too early, like ANTHEM.
Scott Fisher, Yeah. I wish more companies were like CD Project Red, they’ll only release the game once they known for sure that it’s perfect. I mean The Witcher 3 did have a good amount of bugs but it was still a really good game. And Cyberpunk has been in development for a long time now.

Ever since I played Age of Mythology I wanted RPGs from ancient Egypt, greece and with Vikings, now they're done that so I'm more than comfortable to give them my money to find my fun these worlds. Watch Dogs look like a good amount of fun aswell-

At a certain point in your life you have played enough video games that you can predict the quality of a game without even playing it. Looking at the trend the Industry takes its all downhill. Blizzard outright copied the fleet missions from Black Flag. It boggles my mind that they copied THOSE systems but not the sailing/ship content (which would've been a perfect fit in BfA). Who wouldn't have preferred customizing your own ship and naval PvP/quests over warfronts?

@@rzrlight Implementing a ship system like in Black Flag would've been leagues better than the systems we've gotten since Mists. Best of the past 3 expansions have been artifact weapons, and even those ended up being useless. Garrisons, warfronts, island expeditions . . . mark my words, covenants will be right up there.

AC Valhalla gets a meh from me. Far Cry 6's trailer has me hyped and I never even cared for the franchise after Far Cry 3.
Watch Dogs Legion also looks interesting, I don't so much care for the hacking cyberpunk London theme but the recruiting multiple characters with different strengths, different approaches to missions seems very RPG and I'm here for it.

Micro-transactions, especially in a single-player game are a powerful reminder that game developers exist for profit and nothing else.
At least before it was mainstream, it seemed as they were on the side of the consumer, even just a little bit.
How i see it, game developers are the ones who care. But they are given a budget to do certain things so obviously they have to cut some things off from their visions.

For instance. There was no stone castles in the Viking age.
The Viking agedspanned from roughly from 792AD to 1066AD.. The first stone castle to be erected, was built in the late 1100AD.
And no.. there weren't bulky female warriors, or armies of heroic shield maidens (referring to the vikings show, which has gotten way out of hand with the liberties it takes), who somehow was able to stand their ground against male physique en masse. what a shit show. wow ubisoft, brilliant. watchdogs okay, i didnt like the first cinematic but the gameplay looks ok. but 2 or 3 mobile games, another ac, another far cry, what the hell.
I bet any fuckin' money that new AC game will have NPC you can BUY with CASH... any fucking money dood.
