So after years and years of putting this franchise to the side I finally watched the original trilogy (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Evangelion: Death 2, and The End of Evangelion) and my god I wasn’t expecting this to be my favorite anime. I’m super happy I didn’t watch this as a teenager cuz I would’ve been so damn depressed. I can only imagine if I read Berserk.
