This needs to be saved for prosperity. Not a cellphone or a wheelie in sight! Love it!

The music was composed by Michael Sembello ('Maniac') and Mark Hudson. The actual VHS video is called 'BMX Freestyle'. Just Google the name of the VHS and the two composers' names to find yourself a copy on eBay, then record the soundtrack from the tape. Probably the only way to find these tracks.
FYI you'll know it's the right VHS tape because it says "Hot Stereo Soundtrack by Michael Sembello and Mark Hudson" on the cover.

The 'Too Rough Too Buffed' track was also used in Lyle Alzado's 'No Sweat' workout video.

Watching this tape as a kid I thought,
"Man, if only I could ride like those guys. I'd probably be able to get any chick I want".
I also wanted to move to where those riders were.

On this VHS tape, there was video of Joe Hendrix doing freestyle in a parking lot with a semi-rap song in the background. I haven’t seen this video since the 80’s, but I recall lyrics to the effect of “Jumping Joe Hendrix, the man of the hour, with little Fred Gates to have a lot of power. A huge sound and a microphone...”. Has anyone seen that video uploaded anywhere?

I don't know what video that was, but I remember the song. The chorus went something like "He's jumpin'...[very long pause]...JOE!"

Well if you really own the songs you should sell the rights. Or better yet put the songs up on Spotify for us to download and enjoy. I myself grew up watching this vhs over and over as a kid. These songs are basically like an anthem to my childhood. And like many other people on here I watch the videos purely for the songs which we can’t find anywhere else.
