the great one tables matches usually pull off better stars and you gotta not put a run in on gimmic matches i heard plus match the types like specialist and all like if u select roman balor has a little thing glowing on him meaning he is a match for roman to put up a better match title matches boot the stars you gotta pull up the popularity also try and complete commissioner goals and course use built rivalries for better stars like in your case probably john morrsion has alesser popularity maybe try charity promos for the guy if he is a hero and then that will make his matches better like ur match balor vs morrison did not have a style aka class blend as i said the little glowing line only have matches between a pairs which can put up a good match ik very restricted but this is how it works try sabotaging the other show by using ur power cards like the double cost can go for a ppv since that's when matches are more and reportedly tables matches do the best and try signing legends over normal stars also check a guy's star power and class and see who it can match with and keep ur mid card the weaker one as the opener and main event need to be the strong part of your show try figuring out which parts of the roster work well and which don't and take fan advice and keep the superstars morales high if possible don't forget about the promises and yeah don't forget to build up stars as rn the matches will not do that good add title matches to squeeze those ratings out (sorry if any info comes out to be wrong i am telling from my exp as tables matches always work for me and many ppl on yt agree and if you'll find anything else to add or smth that is false do lemme know)

You need to mix class types and babyfaces Vs heels. You also need to build rivalries with the max 4/4 which ends at a PPV. Class types means like Fighter Vs Bruiser, Cruiser Vs Giant, specialist can face anyone and be good. Then you need to build rivalries and that'll build your stars. For instance, have a fighter call out a bruiser to start the rivalry at lvl 1, and then have a one-on-one match and it usually gets 3 stars plus lvl 2 rivalry. Also look at the popularity of your wrestlers and make sure to keep their stamina above 40 or they risk getting injured.

It personally doesn't bother me as most my favs are specialists, bruisers, and fighters, and I just hire locals for my giant or cruiser if I'm in a bother and have exhausted their matchups. What you could do is make a custom draft pool and change everyone to specialist.
This! The game basically tells you how to play it, and yet its amazing at how many streamers don't get it.

The only reason why they made this game so good is that they were making the game like there lives depended on it after that piece of trash game that is 2k20 and maybe the next game won't be that good because now that 2k22 is receiving positive reviews they might get over confident and one that happens they might not even put much effort in to the next game

Haven’t played a wrestling game in so long but watching the great one play this seems so much fun.
a bit of advice, I think this is kinda like supercard. you have to mix and match weight classes and fight types and heel and face etc. that's the only thing I can think of from the triple h texts
I think if I had this game and played GM mode.. I would have 2 controllers to run the whole mode myself because watching the AI picking random and not actually being competitive is what baffles me like for example another guy I watched his opponent had 3 hell in cell matches for opener , mid and main event with Dana Brooke etc he still lost to that lol but other than that I still enjoy it because you guys still try to make it creative and being honest. .. I still haven't seen Bobby Lashley yet tho 😕

it kinda looks funny how they lock up every time they try to grapple, but jesus, the breaker / dodge mechanics is a big game changer, and AI is tougher this time.

I guess First match has to be hype, second middle popcorn match, and then hype at the end. Also if you listen to HHHs suggestions too often it can ruin your show supposedly through some mechanic, I can't remember what it was called. And doing the ones that legit have matchups are the ones that you should always do, Specialists are supposed to be able to go up against everyone but at least so far I haven't gotten good ratings off of them, even with high rivalries.
It is okay, more fun watching you do it, but I really hope the follow-up games they open it up and make it more like it used to be in 07/08 and let us do all match types/titles... Too bad even though they COULD add it with patches they wont because then they can't sell future games on the improvements.
Try booking both shows and play against yourself. Pretty neat to find what works and what doesn't plus it's fun to see when it really gets good ratings.

Ratings depends on the wrestlers' synergies. The type of wrestler is significant in booking matches because it affects the ratings. For example, a fighter will have a good match and synergy with bruisers, booking goes deeper than we thought.
the key is the tables matches, if you see, on raw, all their matches were tables matches, and they all got good ratings
I doubt that lol.. previous videos I watched.. their opponent on GM mode did all HELL in a cell match and won.. I think the AI Gm just puts on special matches to win ratings not actually caring who's in the match or their storylines.. lol that's what baffles me.. the difficulty is hard but they didn't even let the AI be serious

@@KrYPTzx I mean there's a lot wrong with this year's GM mode but you obviously should already know if you actually were a fan of GMmode.. just glad there's people out there willing to try to be creative and use their imagination somehow to make ente videos for us.. especially with how they have AI set up in GM mode.. like I get the difficulty is hard but at least make it make sense you know?

@@LosHitman right... it feels like you have to choose between making an engaging product with great and entertaining stories or actually Winning.. by constantly doing special matches or hiring more superstars which would really be wasting money because you only have 2 champions for each men and women... if you get 25+ people.. not all of them going to get tv time or a champion.. they gon be mad etc
@@king_xpert1311 yea i dont like this Gm mode either. Instead of basing it on how good a match is they based it upon how wwe makes matches and we all know how that works. Like Edge vs Roman how on earth is that match mediocre? Its like a legendary match which everyone will love to watch.

If you want better ratings you have to match up correct fighting types. A bruiser and a fighter mig Well, a giant and a cruiser mig well and a specialist can put on a match with everyone

Hey bro, try booking a bruiser vs fighter (heel vs face at the same time). Also cruiser vs giant. This will give you good ratings. It sucks but that's how it designed lol.

Are there any cutscenes in my gm? I've unlocked all arenas and played alot of weeks but haven't seen 1 cutscene.
I like the limitations in general but no midcard championships is a dud, the match type limitations are also awful (no triple threat, 4 way..etc). Next year I hope we can do atleast 4 matches, do 6 man tags, handicaps..etc, and actually have some input in the promos.
Superstar overalls dont matter in myGm, which is why Tucker with 71 in game is putting great matches. Build good rivalries and ratings will follow

You have to make every match a special type of match. Literally book hell in a cell and tables matches every match and make your promos advertisements. Gain money to sign more stars and you’ll have 3.5 star matches or better every match

Roman reings is really hard to beat man but you did it
it's the matchups that makes their ratings so much better than yours, you wanna prioritize fighters vs bruisers and cruisers vs giants. You can always substitute with a specialist if you don't have a certain match up but those are always unpredictable, although specialist vs specialist can give you some pretty good matches. But yeah matchups are crucial in this thing, i hope that helps a little.
It's best when you get rivalries going they usually get higher rated matches
